Digital Marketing & Media Manager | Marketing Germany Drive digital marketing performance in Germany by planning and optimizing campaigns that build the brand and support sales, working closely with HQ and local teams. The opportunity We’re currently looking for a Digital Marketing & Media Manager. Someone to join our Marketing team in Germany to plan, execute, and continuously optimize digital campaigns that drive business and brand KPIs. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and global HQ teams, you will ensure that centrally developed campaigns are effectively localized and executed in the German market, with a strong focus on quality, performance, and consistency across all digital touchpoints. This position is located in Cologne, Germany. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, enabling both collaboration and focused individual work. The responsibilities In this role, you’ll be expected to plan, execute, and continuously improve digital marketing campaigns and media activities for the German market. Working as part of the Marketing team, you will ensure strong performance, high-quality execution, and full alignment with global strategies and local commercial needs. Plan, execute, and optimize local media activities while contributing to central campaign activations, including brand and launch campaigns, ensuring strong market impact Develop and deliver tactical campaigns for the German market in close collaboration with Sales, aligning marketing efforts with commercial priorities and dealership needs Analyze, monitor, and continuously optimize campaign performance, media investments, and conversion rates, providing clear reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders Act as local website owner and quality gatekeeper, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high standards across digital assets, including localization, translations, UX, and campaign execution Manage and collaborate closely with agencies, HQ teams, and internal stakeholders, validating proposals, ensuring alignment with global strategies, and securing high-quality, scalable execution across all digital touchpoints, including influencer marketing initiatives The ideal candidate In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, you bring a strong sense of ownership and accountability, combined with a structured and analytical way of working. You have a sharp eye for detail and quality, and you are comfortable taking responsibility for both execution and continuous improvement across multiple digital touchpoints. You are confident working with data to monitor performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive better outcomes. At the same time, you are able to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, balancing global frameworks with local market needs and ensuring smooth coordination across teams, agencies, and partners. In addition, you’ll need the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for campaign planning and execution Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, enabling you to independently manage campaigns, media planning, and optimization Native-level German with excellent writing and editing skills, ensuring high-quality localization and content accuracy across all digital channels Business fluent English, allowing effective collaboration with global teams and stakeholders Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with performance data, supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization Polestar is an international company, with various backgrounds represented.
