Job Description Summary
This position will partner with Digital Strategists to execute the successful transition of several historic subdomains and content types into one integrated user experience. This role will design and develop systems, processes, and procedures for measuring and attributing user behavior across complex digital journeys.
Responsible for developing and executing an integrated customer strategy across all digital channels and ensuring consistency in digital customer contact points. Uses customer data analytics and industry best practices to track the consumer journey across online and off-line touchpoints, develops and executes data-driven best practices. Helps drive integration of data with hospital systems including EPIC and Salesforce. Develops measurement and reporting plan to accurately track, share, and react to information regarding the performance of content and content strategy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management - Independently manage the digital strategy consultation, resulting content and UX plans and execution for multiple assigned clients spanning the entire medical center including Research and Patient & Family blogs, microsites, strategic initiative websites, and other assigned digital properties. Exercise sound judgment, critical thinking and communication skills to balance clients' goals, digital best practices, and established governance principals. Determine and execute reporting needs to monitor performance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet the needs of the client. Show flexibility and adaptability in client interactions, changing approach or method of communication to best match client's interest, availability, goals, and technical knowledge. Effectively translate technical or complex concepts into layman's language that matches your client's knowledge or engagement level.
Proactive Content and UX Strategy Enhancements - Utilize analytics data user experience (UX) best practices and content strategy and information architecture principles to identifying performance and content goals for each assigned client and CCHMC digital properties. Monitor and measure performance to goals and proactively identify enhancements to achieve these goals. Independently create a schedule to support the ongoing needs of each assigned client and digital property. Ensure all assigned digital properties are maintaining accurate and optimized information that is organized and aligned to user needs. Proactively maintain measurement and monitoring of KPIs and the identification of risks and opportunities and recommendations for future enhancements.
Search Engine Optimization Consultation and Execution - In support of assigned clients and digital properties, use tools and experience to plan and execute search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and tactics, cross linking efforts and link analysis across digital properties and channels. Use SEO ideas to support strategic improvements, measure results and adjust content in coordination with colleagues or clients. Conduct analysis of SEO and SERP to monitor site health and make recommendations and execute internal and external linking, site content optimization, meta information, etc. Help drive SEO strategy to maximize traffic and performance including optimization for AI-powered search and content discovery experiences. Conduct link analysis including identifying opportunities and executing improvements such as fixing broken links, redirects, and cross linking.
Digital Strategy Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Committed to participating in and often leading team discussions about new and changing digital strategy best practices including user experience, content architecture, AI search optimization, and digital governance. Document and share latest information gathered through independent research and experience gained through client relationship management, SEO application and proactive content and UX strategy enhancements.
Audience Channel/Digital Property Strategist - Act as the content strategist for audience channel or digital property, including blogs, microsites, and strategic initiative websites. Possess a deep understanding of the user, their needs, motivations, and preferences to effectively direct the strategy of content development and enhancements. Possess the ability to act decisively, format policy and implement it effectively with your team to improve content performance and achieve consistency. Be a resource for department colleagues by sharing your knowledge of your audience or digital property and working to better integrate content across channels. Create and foster a relationship between yourself and the other stakeholders within the department and across the organization to develop shared goals and tests of change. Support the planning, launch, governance, optimization, and ongoing management of assigned microsites and digital properties while ensuring alignment with accessibility, compliance, branding, and governance standards.
Provide leadership for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with strategy, commitments, and goals. Define project scope, goals, deliverables and resource requirements. Develop full-scale project plans and manages project budget, resource allocation, and timeline. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Direct assigned project team including vendors and contractors, ensuring effective utilization of resources. Constantly monitor project deliverables and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. At the completion of the project, conduct a thorough evaluation and assessment of the project’s results. Effectively apply project management skills.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIOINS
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years of work experience in data analysis, visualization, and performance reporting.
Advanced expertise in CMS, SEO, UX, web analytics, and digital strategy.
Expertise with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and/or Piwik PRO
Experience using Google Tag Manager
Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of HIPAA, online privacy regulations, and digital compliance best practices.
