Hexa Consulting is looking for a Junior / Middle Digital Measurement and Analytics Specialist (GA4 | Google Tag Manager) to join our Client's team in a hybrid work model from Lisbon.
Job Details:
Lisbon, Portugal | Hybrid, 1 day per week in the office | Marketing, Communications & Media
Mandatory Requirements:
- Professional or academic experience related to digital measurement, web analytics or marketing analytics.
- Hands-on knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in web environments.
- Experience working with Google Tag Manager (GTM) for tag and event implementation.
- Understanding of digital measurement concepts, including events, conversions, KPIs and user journeys.
- Knowledge of DataLayer, event tracking, pixels and tag validation.
- Basic understanding of GDPR, consent management and digital tracking privacy principles.
- Familiarity with campaign tracking and UTM parameters.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with marketing, business and technical teams.
- Motivation to learn and develop within digital analytics and measurement.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to GA4 implementation in app environments.
- Familiarity with server-side Google Tag Manager.
- Knowledge of Google BigQuery and SQL.
- Experience with Looker Studio or other data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Consent Mode and first-party data collection practices.
- Understanding of digital attribution models and conversion funnels.
- Exposure to advertising platform integrations, CDPs or MMPs.
- Familiarity with mobile measurement platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust or Branch.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
- Google Analytics or Google Cloud Platform certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of digital measurement plans across web environments.
- Configure, test and validate tags, events, conversions and pixels using Google Tag Manager.
- Support GA4 configuration and ensure that relevant digital interactions are measured correctly.
- Assist with DataLayer implementation and validation in collaboration with development teams.
- Monitor tracking accuracy and help identify and troubleshoot data collection issues.
- Support the definition and maintenance of campaign tracking conventions, including UTM parameters and naming standards.
- Help maintain consistent tracking and measurement practices across digital channels.
- Support GDPR-compliant measurement practices, consent management and Consent Mode implementations.
- Assist with data quality checks and tracking audits.
- Use GA4 and other analytics tools to explore digital performance and user behaviour.
- Support basic SQL and BigQuery analysis when required.
- Create or support Looker Studio dashboards and analytical prototypes.
- Collaborate with marketing, media, BI and development teams to translate measurement needs into tracking requirements.
- Continuously develop knowledge of digital analytics, measurement technologies and industry best practices.
