*Salary numerated in USD but paid in local currency in country of residence Role overview:We are seeking a Digital Policy Intern to support Tayari’s impactgrants and broader digital policy initiatives. The intern will assistwith research, drafting policy briefs, grant documentation, andcoordination with partners. This is a virtual role suitable for aMaster’s student in public policy, digital rights, internationaldevelopment, or related fields. Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)Key responsibilities:- Research digital policy issues relevant to Tayari’s programs andimpact grant areas.- Draft short policy briefs, memos, and grant inputs.- Support grant application prep and evidence collection for impact grants.- Assist with stakeholder mapping and outreach for policy-related partnerships.- Support monitoring and reporting of policy-related activities.- Attend weekly virtual team check-ins and provide progress updates.Qualifications:- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s degree inPublic Policy, Digital Rights, International Development, Law, orrelated field.- Strong research and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise briefs.- Interest in digital policy, governance, or impact-focused work.- Comfortable working remotely and collaboratively across timezones.- Prior experience with grants, research, or policy work is a plus.
