Join Qantas in our brand-new Product and Innovation Centre located in Adelaide to help meet evolving consumer needs by enabling agile teams to deliver faster, more adaptive solutions that prioritise customer value, continuous feedback, and innovation at every stage of the product lifecycle.

As the Digital Product Analyst, you will maintain the integrity of Digital Platforms and Products within the assigned portfolio. You will work with an array of stakeholders, departments and external vendors to provide subject matter expertise on product capability, the wider squads on the delivery of enhancements and manage the day-to-day operations of their respective digital products.

To be successful in this role, you will be analytical and passionate about problem solving, review incoming product queries from business units, external organisations or customers. You will be responsible for developing reports, that provide insights on trends and opportunities which form a part of informing the product development roadmap set by the Product Owner, as well as ensuring newly delivered products work for customers in a production environment.

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years of experience using global distribution systems (GDS) technology (preferably Amadeus). Confident in using cryptic commands within a Global Distribution System (GDS), preferably Amadeus but experience in Sabre or Travelport systems also desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a travel industry, digital or operations support role.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital products and agile ways of working.
  • Experience in IATA Fares and Ticketing I and II, would be highly regarded.
  • Familiar with fares and ticketing procedures, including fare displays, pricing, availability, PNR creation and management, ticketing and PNR servicing procedures.
  • Operates with autonomy to identify problems and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Investigate, track and resolve technical product and software issues including raising and management of defects and solution documentation.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills including the identification of trends for issues and action plans to mitigate.
  • Developed and maintain user-guides, internal knowledge articles and product documentation.
  • Experience with, and comfort using, collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document and manage stories and other documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Understands and complies with legal, regulatory and corporate stipulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can effectively manage customer expectations.
