Job Description:
This is a critical, high-impact role designed to accelerate and future-proof the digital foundations of our Digital Business Unit (DBU). While our digital merchandising team is focused on executing with excellence across key retail partners to deliver our vital CARS KPIs and maximise digital shelf conversion %, this role serves as the operational engine behind that success. By reinforcing, optimizing, and orchestrating our tools ecosystem, the core purpose of this role is to eliminate manual friction - such as repetitive content redeployment - through trusted, automated workflows. In doing so, it frees up critical team capacity to capitalize on high value optimisation opportunities while establishing robust measurement frameworks that translate digital shelf health directly into commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop & Drive the Automation Roadmap:
· Define and own the strategic roadmap for digital shelf automation, identifying key opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve speed-to-market, and increase content integrity.
· Continuously assess team workflows and systems to identify friction points and scope projects that deliver the highest value in efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Lead Cross-Functional Digital Projects:
· Act as the primary business lead and project manager for initiatives involving central technology teams (PIM, DAM, NIQ) and external partners.
· Translate DBU commercial priorities into clear technical requirements, user stories, and project plans, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and deliverables are met.
· Specifically drive the DBU agenda for the Salsify Global Org integration and API connection opportunities.
3. Champion Data-Driven Operations & Measurement:
· Establish and govern the frameworks for measuring the impact of automation and improved capabilities, connecting system metrics to commercial KPIs like conversion and sales.
· Partner with analytics and merchandising teams to create visibility and reporting that demonstrates the value of improved processes and identifies future opportunities.
4. Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement:
· Serve as a subject matter expert on digital capabilities and automation, training and enabling the wider team to leverage new tools and processes effectively.
Proactively scan the market for emerging technologies and methodologies that can provide the team with a competitive advantage.
Your Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent and/or experience in similar positions
- Excellent editing and proofing skills, proficiency with Internet and suite of Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and presentation skills (English)
- strong eCommerce / digital understanding / experience in a brand or retail environment
- Strong experience in project management, particularly in a digital or technical environment, with a track record of delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and strategic roadmaps.
- Solid understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and the fundamentals of the digital shelf.
- Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with a focus on influencing and collaboration.
