As a Digital Strategy Manager on the Client Strategy team, you will own the digital strategy for a book of OEM and dealer accounts across the construction, agriculture, and trucking equipment industries. You will partner with an aligned group of sales reps to turn client business goals into integrated programs that span off-platform paid media, on-platform inventory across CCJ, Overdrive, Equipment World, and Trucks Parts Service, and content from our in-house Content Studio.
You will act as the strategic engine behind the sale, joining pitches, shaping proposals, and guiding clients on what their media is intended to do for their business. Alignment is intentional on this team: you will build continuity with your accounts over time, earning the trust needed for longer-term, multi-year partnerships.
Your success will be measured across three areas: revenue impact within your aligned book, client health, and operational excellence in proposal turnaround, and strategy planning.
What You Will Do:
Client Strategy & Planning
- Build annual and campaign-level digital strategies for an assigned book of OEM and dealer accounts, grounded in each client's market position, sales cycle, and dealer network.
- Translate client business goals, such as demand generation, dealer traffic, market share, and product launches, into clear media and content plans with defined KPIs.
- Sequence programs across the client year so each quarter builds on the last, creating a multi-quarter roadmap that supports renewal and long-term partnership.
Sales Partnership & Pitch Support
- Serve as the dedicated strategic partner for an aligned group of sales reps, joining discovery calls, pitches, and renewal conversations from start to finish.
- Run pre-pitch research on accounts, competitors, and category trends so every client conversation starts from insight rather than inventory.
- Assist sales with proposal builds and RFP responses using Fusable's data and marketing insights.
Integrated Program Design
- Combine off-platform paid media across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, and programmatic offerings with on-platform inventory into unified, multi-channel programs.
- Recommend channel mix, audiences, targeting, and budget allocation based on client objectives, data, and performance history.
- Brief the Content Studio on written, video, and audio assets that strengthen the media plan and give each program a clear story.
Execution Handoff & Performance Oversight
- Hand off approved programs to Digital Specialists and Account Coordinators with complete, clear briefs that set up flawless execution.
- Turn performance data into client-ready insights and support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that highlight results and next steps.
Industry Expertise & Team Contribution
- Stay ahead of emerging digital platforms, ad products, and measurement approaches, including new AI search and chat ad formats, and help bring them to market.
- Enable sales reps on new digital capabilities so they can position and sell them with confidence.
- Contribute to the team's reusable tools, including packaging, audit frameworks, research kits, and templates, and bring field feedback into product decisions.
What You Need:
- 4+ years of experience in digital media strategy, media planning, or client strategy, preferably in an agency, publisher, or digital media environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing disciplines, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, audience targeting, and campaign measurement.
- Proven experience building proposals and presenting strategy to clients, agencies, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience partnering closely with sales teams in a pre-sales, solutions, or sales engineering capacity.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect digital performance to client business outcomes.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to turn campaign data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a direct and structured style.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, proposals, and deadlines at once.
- Experience in B2B, industrial, or equipment markets (construction, agriculture, transportation) and familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Programmatic DSPs, or CM360 is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
