Henry Seymour (part of Jensten Group) is looking for a curious, hands-on Digital Technology & Data Specialist to join and help shape the technology and digital capabilities behind our growing insurance business.
Based out of our Sutton office, with a hybrid working arrangement, you’ll work across our Tradesman Saver and Salon Gold brands, supporting the digital journeys, data and technology behind approximately 60,000 policies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, exploring new technology and turning ideas into practical improvements.
You don’t need to have managed a large technology function or know everything already. What matters is your enthusiasm, technical curiosity, willingness to learn and ability to get things done.
Working closely with our Digital Operations Manager, marketing teams, group technology colleagues and external specialists, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your skills across a broad range of digital disciplines.
What will you be doing?
Digital Technology & Platforms
Help develop and deliver improvements to our websites, quote-and-buy journeys, CRM and customer technology.
Work with external developers to turn business ideas into clear requirements, coordinate projects and test new releases.
Help improve integrations between our systems, reduce manual processes and make the customer journey smoother.
Research new technologies and identify opportunities to improve how we work.
Data, Analytics & Reporting
Support our website tracking, GA4, attribution and data quality, helping us understand how customers interact with our brands.
Build and maintain dashboards that bring together website performance, quotes, conversions, policies, revenue and marketing results.
Investigate data gaps and work with our specialists and group data team to resolve issues.
Develop your knowledge of data infrastructure, analytics and reporting, bringing more capability in-house over time.
Digital Growth & Conversion Optimisation
Help improve our online customer journeys by identifying friction points and opportunities to increase conversion.
Coordinate testing and experimentation, including A/B testing, heat mapping and session recordings.
Work with our marketing team and external partners to turn insights into measurable improvements.
Monitor results, share findings and help shape our ongoing programme of digital improvements.
AI, Automation & Marketing Technology
Explore and test new AI tools, automation platforms and emerging technologies.
Build practical prototypes and automations that reduce repetitive tasks and improve customer and colleague experiences.
Support the development and integration of marketing technology, including campaign tracking, automation and customer communications.
Help us identify where technology can make a genuine difference, while following our security, data protection and responsible AI standards.
Projects, Partners & Continuous Improvement
Build relationships with developers, agencies, data specialists and technology suppliers.
Coordinate activity, monitor delivery and help ensure projects stay on track.
Work with colleagues across the business to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
Document processes, share knowledge and help new tools and ways of working become part of everyday business.
What are we looking for?
We’re interested in people who are enthusiastic about digital technology and data, enjoy learning and are comfortable getting into the detail.
You may already be working in a digital, data, marketing technology, web or technology support role, or be looking for the next step in your career.
You’ll ideally bring:
Experience working with digital platforms, websites or web technologies.
A working knowledge of GA4 or similar analytics and reporting tools.
An interest in data, tracking, attribution and understanding digital performance.
A practical, problem-solving mindset and the confidence to investigate issues and find solutions.
An interest in AI, automation, experimentation and emerging technology.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of colleagues and external partners.
A proactive approach, commercial awareness and a genuine desire to develop your skills.
Experience in insurance or another regulated industry would be helpful but isn't essential. Equally, you don't need to be an expert in every area.
We'll provide coaching, support and access to specialist partners as you grow into the role.

About Us:
Jensten is one of the UK’s leading insurance intermediary groups, known for putting clients and people first. Since launching in 2018, we’ve built a standout business in a crowded marketplace — combining scale, deep technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.
Jensten is entering an exciting new chapter, with the business evolving into two clearly defined trading divisions: Broking and Product & Distribution. The Broking division will bring together Regional Broking, Specialist Lines & London Markets, and also Network Broking- while Product & Distribution will unite Jensten’s market-leading Schemes & Affinity businesses with Jensten Underwriting. This will enable us to deliver tailored insurance solutions directly to clients and through a network of trusted third‑party broking partners.
Thanks to strong organic growth and a strategic acquisition programme, Jensten is now a Top 10 Independent Broker, placing around £600 million GWP into the market. We employ over 1,000 colleagues across 50 locations across the UK and Ireland and support 93 entrepreneurial franchise holders nationwide.
Our purpose — “Protecting today, empowering tomorrow” — reflects the role we play for our clients, our communities and each other. Our people bring this to life every day through our values: Caring, Curious, Skilled and Bold.
We sit in a unique space between large consolidators and local brokers — big enough to offer capability and influence, yet agile enough to maintain the culture, autonomy and client focus of a truly independent business
