Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $125,000.00 Annually Job Title: Director, Corporate Philanthropy and Partnerships Location: Remote US Department: Development Reports to: VP, Peer-to-Peer and Field-Based Fundraising Wage Category: Exempt The Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF) is not a traditional research foundation. We operate as a patient-centered drug discovery engine for NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves affecting 1 in 2,000 individuals. We operate by accelerating the full continuum of scientific discovery, from basic research through translation to clinical trials and approved treatments — while empowering patients and building the financial infrastructure to support that journey. We catalyze progress by uniting academia, industry, regulators, and patient advocates around shared goals. General Summary The Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Partnerships (DCPP) is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow corporate and independent foundation support for CTF. The Director will cultivate and secure partnerships across the pharmaceutical, biotech, technology, data, healthcare, and other science-related industries, while also developing corporate and in-kind partnerships that provide budget relief for the CTF Conference and Summit. The DCPP will also support CTF’s peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. The DCPP will lead efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward independent foundation partners, with a particular focus on (but not limited to) science- and healthcare-focused funders whose priorities align with CTF’s mission and strategic initiatives. This includes securing grants to advance CTF’s research, scientific, and healthcare programs. Working closely with CTF staff, and volunteers, the Director will leverage relationships and networks to build a strong pipeline of prospective partners, deepen existing relationships, and grow long-term institutional support advancing our mission through funding opportunities. The Director will bring demonstrated experience in corporate and foundation fundraising, relationship development and stewardship, and effectively engaging volunteers and organizational leaders in the fundraising process. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Drive significant growth in sponsorship revenue for CTF’s two flagship events, the Global Conference and NF Summit, with the goal of achieving full sponsorship coverage of event costs. Develop and execute strategies to grow corporate and independent foundation revenue, including building and managing a strong pipeline of current and prospective funders. Tailor sponsorship packages and proposals to maintain and grow strategic trajectory. Work to position CTF as a premier philanthropic partner for corporate and independent foundation funders, building compelling opportunities that demonstrate impact and inspire significant, high-level investment in CTF’s mission. Develop engagement strategies to reach senior corporate and independent foundation decision-makers, leveraging CTF leadership and volunteers where appropriate. Partner with CTF’s Science and Education teams to identify funding opportunities aligned with research, healthcare, and other strategic priorities. Secure national and regional corporate sponsorships and corporate grants for key CTF initiatives. In addition to the Global Conference and Summit, this includes: P2P campaigns, annual gala and other mission-driven events and programs to exceed annual revenue goals and build long term relationships. Grow existing corporate and independent foundation partnerships by identifying opportunities to increase investment, expand engagement, and move current sponsors and funders to higher levels of support. Develop regional and national corporate partnerships that support CTF’s peer-to-peer fundraising programs. Understand corporate philanthropic priorities and giving strategies to effectively position CTF for investment. Create and implement strong stewardship strategies that deepen relationships, encourage renewal, and increase corporate and foundation support. Engage volunteers and organizational leaders who can open doors, strengthen relationships, and help advance corporate and foundation funding opportunities. Maintain accurate and timely donor, prospect, pipeline, and activity information within CTF systems. Additional duties as required.
