The group you’ll be a part of
As part of Lam’s Global Supply Chain Management organization, the Remote Manufacturing Factory Support team plays a critical role in enabling shipment readiness, launch readiness, and operational continuity across Lam’s remote manufacturing network. The organization serves as the Supply Chain single point of contact across factories, suppliers, manufacturing partners, Product Groups, and executive leadership, driving proactive risk identification, escalation, and resolution to protect customer commitments.
The impact you’ll make
In this role, you will lead a global team responsible for protecting customer deliveries, enabling scale, and driving operational excellence across Lam's remote manufacturing ecosystem. You will transform the organization from reactive shortage management toward predictive, digitally enabled supply orchestration while ensuring launch readiness, shipment readiness, and mitigation of material risks across Major Module and Gas Box manufacturing operations.
This leader will establish scalable processes, governance, analytics, and organizational capabilities that improve visibility, accelerate issue resolution, and drive accountability throughout Lam's global supply chain network.
What you’ll do
Organizational Leadership
- Lead and develop a global organization supporting Remote Factory Major Module and Gas Box operations.
- Build a high-performing team culture focused on ownership, urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop organizational capability, succession planning, and talent strategies.
- Create a globally aligned operating model with standardized processes and metrics.
Launch & Shipment Readiness
- Own global Remote Factory launch readiness and ship readiness governance.
- Drive proactive identification and mitigation of material risks impacting factory output and customer shipments.
- Establish robust Hold-the-Line (HTL) processes and executive escalation mechanisms.
- Ensure timely escalation, resolution, and closure of launch and shipment misalignments.
Supply Chain Risk Management
- Lead cross-functional recovery efforts for supplier constraints, quality issues, capacity shortages, and unexpected disruptions.
- Drive risk identification, scenario planning, business continuity planning, and mitigation strategies for critical commodities and suppliers.
- Ensure effective management of OBC, BKO, PBKO, and material allocation processes.
- Develop comprehensive risk dashboards and executive reporting mechanisms.
Remote Factory & Gas Box Excellence
- Serve as executive sponsor for Major Module and Gas Box shipment readiness.
- Establish operational governance with Supplier Business Managers, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing, and Product Groups.
- Drive standardization of RF Factory Support processes globally.
- Implement best practices for supplier visibility, shipment tracking, commitment management, and capacity recovery.
Digital Transformation & Scalability
- Advance the organization's transition from reactive execution to predictive risk management.
- Champion automation, AI, analytics, and digital tools that improve visibility and reduce manual intervention.
- Establish leading indicators and predictive metrics enabling early risk detection.
- Create scalable business processes that support future growth.
Executive Communication
- Provide concise and actionable executive updates regarding shipment risk, launch readiness, and factory performance.
- Drive accountability across cross-functional leadership teams.
- Present risk assessments, recovery plans, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

The successful candidate will:
- Act as the primary leader for Remote Factory and Gas Box Factory Support globally.

Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, factory support, planning, procurement, or related functions.
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing global teams.
- Experience supporting complex manufacturing operations and global supply networks.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs and driving organizational change.
Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor capital equipment industry experience.
- Knowledge of remote manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and gas delivery systems.
- Strong understanding of supply planning, material management, fulfillment, logistics, and supplier management.
- Experience with SAP and advanced analytics platforms.
- Proven track record leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Executive-level communication and influence skills.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
