Role Description The Director Business Intelligence is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the design and execution of data strategies that support advisory services and internal decision-making. This role oversees the development of business intelligence frameworks, data models, and dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding data analytics initiatives, managing data warehousing and ETL processes, ensuring data quality and governance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver reporting solutions. The Director will also mentor team members, evaluate new tools and technologies, and help establish best practices that improve operational efficiency and risk assessment capabilities.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide clear business recommendations.
• Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts to design scalable, well-structured data environments.
• Experience with data analytics, including building reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools and processes to integrate, cleanse, and optimize data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL or similar query languages.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, and communicate complex information in accessible ways.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience working in advisory, consulting, or professional services environments and familiarity with people risk and organizational metrics is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
