Who we are

At Sonova, we envision a world where everyone can enjoy the delight of hearing. This vision inspires us and fuels our commitment to developing innovative solutions that improve hearing health and human connection - from personal audio devices and wireless communication systems to hearing aids and cochlear implants. We're dedicated to providing outstanding customer experiences through our global audiological care services, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage fully with the world around them.

Here you’ll find a diverse range of opportunities that span both consumer and medical solutions and the freedom to shape your career while making an impact on the lives of others. Join us in our mission to create a more connected world, where every voice is heard and every story matters.

As Director, Commercial Transformation, you will lead the commercial transformation agenda for EMEA-LATAM, translating strategic priorities, growth opportunities, and complex business needs into clear roadmaps, well-governed initiatives, and execution-ready programs. You will orchestrate cross-functional transformation, create alignment around critical decisions and trade-offs, and maintain momentum from initial framing through implementation and adoption.

More about the role

  • Lead a portfolio of high-impact commercial transformation initiatives across EMEA-LATAM, providing the structure, governance, and cross-functional orchestration needed to turn complex priorities into coordinated action.
  • Translate complex business challenges and strategic priorities into clear transformation roadmaps, workstreams, decision points, resource requirements, and implementation approaches.
  • Identify, shape, and prioritize transformation opportunities based on business value, feasibility, investment requirements, interdependencies, risks, and organizational readiness.
  • Own the Commercial Transformation PMO and its governance framework, including portfolio cadence, milestone tracking, executive reporting, decision preparation, and escalation of risks and issues.
  • Mobilize senior, cross-functional stakeholders across regional functions, clusters, and markets; create alignment on outcomes, scope, ownership, resources, trade-offs, and success measures.
  • Act as a trusted transformation partner to regional and market leadership, bringing together the relevant functional expertise, surfacing cross-functional implications, and enabling timely decisions and coordinated action.
  • Build momentum and organizational readiness for change, ensuring that initiatives are practical, adopted, and embedded rather than remaining at the level of recommendation or design.
  • Transition established solutions to Commercial Excellence or the relevant business owner for ongoing scaling, optimization, and long-term ownership.

More about you

Essential qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial or enterprise transformation, business leadership, consulting, or program leadership within complex, multi-market organizations.
  • Proven success leading complex regional or enterprise-wide transformations from planning and cross-functional mobilization through implementation, adoption, and measurable impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen and expertise in transformation planning, portfolio governance, change management, value creation, and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in matrixed environments, align senior stakeholders, navigate ambiguity and trade-offs, and translate complex qualitative and quantitative insights into clear decisions and action.
  • Strong executive presence, judgment, communication, and facilitation skills, supported by proficiency in project and portfolio management tools, advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, and openness to responsible use of AI-enabled tools.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with willingness to travel approximately 20–30% across EMEA-LATAM.

Good to have qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, medtech, hearing care, or another complex, vertically integrated business environment.
  • Prior commercial or sales leadership experience, with a practical understanding of market dynamics, customer-facing execution, and commercial team leadership.
  • Formal training or certification in change or program management; EMEA-LATAM experience and an additional regional language are advantageous.
