Director / Consulting Lead – Information Security & Compliance | South Korea

🧭 About the Role

We’re looking for a senior consultant to take hands-on ownership of security and compliance engagements in South Korea. You’ll work directly with clients, conduct assessments, prepare deliverables, and lead assigned projects. Your primary focus will be either security, privacy and certification or financial and cloud security, agreed around your experience, preferences, and project needs. Experience across both areas is not required.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Assess security management systems and controls through client interviews and evidence reviews.
• Identify gaps against applicable laws, regulations, and security standards, and prioritise improvements.
• Develop security policies, guidelines, and procedures that translate requirements into practical controls.
• Personally prepare assessment reports, remediation roadmaps, and executive presentations.
• Support clients with implementation and preparation for certification, assessments, and audits.
• Manage project schedules, quality, and deliverables, coordinating with domestic and international stakeholders.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Native level Korean proficiency
• A bachelor’s degree or higher from a four-year university.
• Strong knowledge of security management systems and controls, with experience as a Project Manager or Project Lead.
• Ideally, 10+ years in information security, privacy, IT risk, IT compliance, or a related field.
• Relevant expertise in your primary area: security, privacy and certification consulting; or financial-sector security, cloud risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
• The ability to analyse issues and turn legal and standards-based requirements into practical improvements.
• Strong professional writing, client communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Relevant assessment, audit, or consulting experience and credentials such as CISSP or CISA are preferred.
• Global project experience and the ability to handle emails, document reviews, and meetings in English are preferred.
