    Location: Lake Zurich, Illinois, United States; onsite three days per week with the remaining days remote

    Salary: $208,000–$217,000 per year, plus eligibility for a 16% target annual bonus and a medium-term incentive plan.

    What you will do

    • Lead revenue accounting and gross-to-net accounting for more than $3 billion in net sales.
    • Chair the Revenue and Gross-to-Net Governance Council and advise executives, including the CFO, on accounting results, estimates, risks, and business trends.
    • Establish policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and controls supporting revenue recognition and gross-to-net processes.
    • Oversee the U.S. Internal Control System Framework across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Payroll, Treasury, and related processes.
    • Lead control monitoring, testing, remediation, segregation-of-duties governance, and SAP GRC initiatives.
    • Build and develop high-performing Revenue Accounting and Internal Controls teams while leading cross-functional transformation initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 10 years of finance or accounting manager-level experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
    • CPA certification is required.
    • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and IFRS requirements related to gross-to-net accounting and revenue recognition, including IFRS 15.
    • Experience with SAP or another major ERP system, financial controls, governance, risk management, and process transformation.
    • Strong analytical, modeling, communication, executive presentation, audit, and business partnering skills.
    • Effective English communication is required for understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.

    Nice to have

    • Five years of experience managing gross-to-net reserves, systems, and tools in the life sciences industry.
    • Public accounting experience with mid- to large-cap multinational public companies followed by management experience.
    • Experience with acute and non-acute care channels, traditional therapies, specialty pharmaceuticals, or biosimilars.
