Director, Corporate Functions FP&A

At Resmed, we're looking for a strategic Director, Corporate Functions FP&A to lead our SG&A Center of Excellence, partner closely with senior technology leaders, and help create greater visibility, consistency, and insight across enterprise spending. This is a highly influential finance leadership role focused on enterprise performance, financial stewardship, and long-term value creation.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, helping guide investment decisions across one of Resmed's largest areas of spend while leading a team responsible for elevating reporting, planning, and financial insights across the organization. You'll combine strong FP&A expertise, people leadership, and business partnership skills to help shape a growing Corporate FP&A function and drive meaningful impact across the enterprise.

This position is remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates located on the U.S. West Coast.

In this role, you'll partner with technology leadership, lead the SG&A Center of Excellence, and develop a team of finance professionals while helping establish a single source of truth for enterprise SG&A performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead the SG&A Center of Excellence and help establish a consistent enterprise-wide view of SG&A spending.
• Partner with senior technology leaders to support investment planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
• Provide strategic financial guidance on technology investments and enterprise priorities.
• Consolidate and analyze spending across multiple functions, business units, and cost centers to improve visibility and governance.
• Develop enterprise reporting, forecasting, planning, and analytics capabilities that support strategic decision-making.
• Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations and actionable insights for business leaders.
• Drive improvements in SG&A reporting, performance management, and enterprise financial transparency.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance review processes for supported functions.
• Build strong partnerships across finance and business teams to align strategy, investments, and resource allocation.
• Develop, coach, and lead a team consisting of a manager and analysts while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Support executive-level reporting and analysis used to inform key business decisions.
• Help shape the future direction of the Corporate FP&A organization through capability building and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong FP&A leadership experience with a focus on planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnership.
• Experience partnering with senior business or functional leaders to manage budgets, investments, and financial performance.
• Experience managing and developing finance professionals, including managers and analysts.
• Experience leading or supporting SG&A planning, reporting, or enterprise-spend management activities.
• Knowledge of capitalization concepts and financial considerations associated with supporting a technology organization.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience influencing decisions and building credibility with senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational environments and competing priorities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a CIO or technology organization.
• Public-company FP&A experience, including exposure to earnings cycles and enterprise-management processes.
• Experience building new FP&A capabilities, reporting frameworks, or centers of excellence.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $187,000- $281,000 USD.
