The Director, Enterprise Service Platform leads the overall direction, development, and operation of the ServiceNow platform for RGA. This role is responsible for the ServiceNow Platform Engineering team and works closely with IT and business leaders to make sure the platform is reliable, secure, scalable, and meeting the needs of the organization.

What you will do

  • Own the ServiceNow strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Lead ServiceNow engineering, development, administration, CMDB, integrations, and automation.
  • Establish clear standards for platform architecture, development, governance, and security.
  • Oversee key ServiceNow capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, SPM, SecOps, and IRM.
  • Manage platform demand, releases, upgrades, and technical debt.
  • Improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, and automation.
  • Work with business, Security, Architecture, and Technology teams to understand needs and deliver practical solutions.
  • Manage the ServiceNow budget, licensing, vendors, contractors, and partners.
  • Track platform health, delivery, adoption, and overall value.
  • Build and develop a strong ServiceNow team with clear roles and accountability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required
  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) and/or LOMA certification preferred
  • 10+ Years IT operations, IT Engineering management or related experience required
  • 11+ years IT operation, IT Engineering management or related experience preferred
  • Advanced project management skills. Demonstrates ability to evaluate project objectives and scope feasibility, gain understanding, schedule resources, and manage budget to plan. required
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received by the business partner. required
  • Advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop staff. required
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to work well within and manage a team required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility required
  • Ability to develop and implement new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions. required
  • Technical Requirements: Strong understanding of ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, workflow automation, integrations, and enterprise service management.
  • Insurance Industry knowledge preferred

Compensation Range:

$107,060.00 - $159,390.00 Annual

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
