We've become the leading independent nonprofit in children's mental health by providing gold-standard evidence-based care, delivering educational resources to millions of families each year, training educators in underserved communities, and developing tomorrow's breakthrough treatments.a Position Details: As part of the Global Center team, you will report to Vice President of Epidemiology & Evidence-Based Interventions You will provide scientific and operational leadership for the Global Center's portfolio of survey research, epidemiologic studies, measurement development, and psychometric research. You will be accountable for the scientific design, methodological rigor, implementation, and successful execution of large-scale surveys and population-based research studies conducted across global settings. You will also oversee research staff, contractors, vendors, and external partners while ensuring scientific integrity, research quality, operational excellence, and achievement of project objectives. This is an exempt, full-time position. Candidates residing within commuting distance of our Midtown Manhattan headquarters will be required to work in the office a minimum of four (4) days per week. Remote candidates will also be considered. You Will: Direct and coordinate the day-to-day work of research teams by developing and managing project plans and timelines, monitoring project progress, preparing reports for leadership and funders, and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables. Implement and oversee research operations across a portfolio of international projects, including operational planning, quality improvement, budget monitoring, resource planning, and continuous assessment of project needs. Oversee the design, implementation, and reporting of complex research studies, including multi-country surveys and community based studies, implementation research, psychometric studies, and other research initiatives, while ensuring scientific rigor and operational excellence. Lead the scientific design and methodological oversight of survey research, epidemiologic studies, measurement initiatives, and psychometric evaluations, ensuring alignment with organizational research priorities and best practices. Manage collaborations with international partners, research institutions, government agencies, and external vendors to support successful project implementation across diverse countries and settings. Ensure compliance with research protocols, ethical and regulatory requirements, data quality standards, and organizational policies across all projects. You Have: Masters degree in survey methodology epidemiology, behavioral sciences or equivalent with advanced expertise in measurement development, psychometrics. A minimum 10 years of senior level, operations, or project management experience in global settings. Experience with large and complex scale surveys. Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, including successfully leading multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities. Excellent communication skills (oral and written), systems thinking, and an understanding of project, financial, and organizational management. Able to rapidly build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across diverse cultural and institutional settings.
