The Director, Finance Business Partner, will serve as the primary strategic finance lead supporting the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, including Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer-facing teams. This role goes beyond reporting — it acts as a trusted advisor, translating data into actionable insights that shape revenue strategy, optimize investment decisions, and drive profitable growth. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional partnership, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior leaders through clear storytelling and data-backed recommendations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates challenges, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve performance across the revenue engine. Responsibilities: Lead the annual financial and strategic planning process for the Go-To-Market business unit, partnering directly with Executive Team members to align financial plans with business priorities. Serve as a strategic finance advisor to Executive Team members, providing financial insight, challenge, and recommendations to support business decisions. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to evaluate pipeline health, bookings trends, pricing strategies, and ROI on GTM investments. Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. Provide strategic decision support on headcount planning, territory design, compensation plans, and marketing spend allocation. Analyze key SaaS and revenue metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, churn, pipeline coverage, etc.) and provide actionable insights. Partner with RevOps to ensure alignment between systems (Salesforce), reporting, and financial outcomes. Drive continuous improvement in commission and incentive program design to align behaviors with company strategy. Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the revenue plan and communicate mitigation strategies. Lead analyses and projects that provide new insights to business leaders and strengthen strategic and operational decision-making. Promote data-driven decision-making by translating complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable recommendations. Partner closely with People Business Partners on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, organizational changes, and other people-related decisions with significant financial impact. Successfully collaborate with many different stakeholders and senior leadership to identify solutions needed to meet their business goals and provide influential advice, insight, challenge, and decision support. Manage special projects such as strategic planning, business case preparation, and M&A support. Ensure alignment between financial plans, operational decisions, workforce strategies, and broader strategic initiatives. Review, analyze, and ensure the quality of operational data. Work with teams to develop operational insights and make recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with ad hoc analysis and support. Gather, consolidate, and analyze key financial metrics and understand the root causes of fluctuations with revenue and costs. Review and analyze financial and operational data, identify key trends and root causes of revenue and cost fluctuations, and recommend actions to improve performance. Lead regular financial reporting and business performance reviews for assigned areas, providing executives with meaningful insights into results, risks, opportunities, and outlook. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: At least eight years of related work experience. Demonstrated experience partnering directly with senior leaders. Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, financial statements, and business performance analysis. Demonstrated ability to connect financial performance with operational and business drivers. Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience with Salesforce CRM. Preferred: Master's Degree of MBA. Private equity experience. Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.). Experience building executive-ready financial presentations. Experience managing commission and incentive programs Travel: Ability to travel as needed.
