The role Based in Mexico City , we are hiring a Director Global BOE&S – Business Planning Excellence (f/m/d) to elevate how we plan, decide, and deliver across our global operations . This is a high-impact, transformation role with global scope , requiring close collaboration across regions and leadership teams. You will initially lead a team of 6–8 , with the expectation to grow the team as impact and scope expand. Hybrid working model ~30% international travel required What you’ll do Set the direction for our global Business Operations Excellence agenda (S&OP/IBP, portfolio & product data governance, and OTIF), translating priorities into measurable business results Establish a robust operating cadence : clarify ownership, data standards, decision rights, and escalation paths to enable faster, data-driven decisions Lead the end-to-end S&OP/IBP transformation , embedding best practices, building capability, and driving maturity improvements across regions Drive portfolio segmentation and complexity reduction , building strong business cases that improve service, cost, working capital, and operational stability Improve OTIF performance by addressing root causes and performance drivers Lead and develop a high-impact team , while influencing senior stakeholders across a global matrix organization What you’ll bring Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business , or similar (Master’s preferred) 15+ years’ experience driving global operations or supply chain performance, ideally in S&OP/IBP and Operational Excellence roles Proven track record of delivering sustainable, measurable transformation results Strong governance mindset and systems thinking : able to design scalable, practical ways of working that teams adopt Experience linking portfolio and lifecycle decisions to planning and financial outcomes Ability to lead through influence in a matrix organization , combined with strong executive communication skills Data-driven, KPI-focused mindset Fluent in English (Spanish is a strong plus) Comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and global stakeholders What we offer The opportunity to lead enterprise-wide transformation from Mexico City, with impact across global operations Ownership and visibility at leadership level , including exposure to senior stakeholders A dynamic, purpose-driven environment where you can shape how we operate as a business Competitive compensation and benefits , with strong development opportunities About Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin) Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin) is a global leader in solutions for the building and infrastructure industry.
