​​​Opportunity to collaborate across all business functions and engage both internal and external key stakeholders to ensure appropriate access for patients to Taiho Oncology’s products. This position is critical to develop and execute the marketing and communications strategy to ensure appropriate access for patients and healthcare providers to Taiho Oncology products.

Position Summary:

​​​Ensure development and delivery of strategically aligned programs, materials, and initiatives to support appropriate engagement and communications with the prioritized Market Access customer segments. The Director of Market Access Marketing is a strategic role focused on developing and executing marketing strategies to maximize appropriate access for patients to Taiho Oncology products across all US payer channels. This individual will collaborate across all business functions and engage with key internal and external stakeholders to create impactful access to related communications and initiatives to ensure appropriate access for patients and healthcare providers. The Director of Market Access Marketing will report to the Executive Director, Market Access and Policy.​​

Performance Objectives:

  • ​​Lead the development and execution of market access strategy and business planning for all Taiho Oncology pipeline and commercial assets across all US market access segments.
  • ​Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners including HEOR, Legal, Marketing, Market Research, Medical Affairs and Sales to capture relevant account insights, identify data gaps, develop compelling value propositions, and ensure field-based teams are equipped with the appropriate tools and support.
  • ​Establish Population Based Decision Makers (PBDM) engagement plans with Market Access Leadership Team to support payer education, facilitate market access related advisory boards, conduct payer landscape analyses and drive payer messaging and access pull through tactics.
  • ​Develop and deliver print material, presentations, websites and media to communicate core messages aligned to fulfilling customer clinical and economic information needs
  • ​Assumes primary responsibility of overall market access communications budget development, management and adherence to target goals.
  • ​Manages all agency partnerships to ensure execution and budget management.
  • ​Partners with Promotional Review Committee (PRC) to ensure development of compliant and champion all market access department pieces through review and approval process.
  • ​Support all market access department operation requirements​

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • ​​BA/BS degree in science and/or business-related discipline, or the equivalent​

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • ​​7+ years oncology pharma / biotech experience
  • 2+ years oncology market access marketing experience
  • Development and execution of marketing tactical plans, including program and material development, approval and delivery​
  • Demonstrated project management experience, interpersonal and professional communication skills with the ability to interact with and influence all levels of management, including business leaders and executives.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility and a proactive approach
  • Understanding of oncology, oral cancer product delivery, and the general cancer care macro-environment
  • Understanding of oncology payer and payer influencer customer segment
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Learning agility to acquire solid product and disease state knowledge to facilitate effective customer communications
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific, economic, and technical-related data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $226,100- $266,000 annually. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including annual bonus/incentive comp plans, potential long term incentive plan, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate/employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
