About Synapticure Synapticure is the largest, most comprehensive specialty care and life sciences company in the country for those living with neurodegenerative diseases. Founded by patients and caregivers living with these diseases, we are redefining the care and the research paradigm for conditions like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and ALS in all 50 states. Our business is powered by two connected engines. The CARES Engine (Clinical Operations) A scalable, 50-state virtualized clinical network providing timely access to expert neurologists and cutting edge treatments with wraparound care coordination and behavioral health support. Our team creates personalized care plans focused on education and empowerment, connecting patients with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialty neurologists, geriatricians, psychologists, and care coordinators who collaborate to deliver comprehensive care. The CURES Engine (Research & Innovation) Leveraging our deeply engaged, well characterized national patient cohort, CURES partners with life science, pharma, biotech, and medical device companies to accelerate the development of neurodegenerative treatments, spanning discovery stage lab services, clinical trial services, and real world evidence data and analytics. Partnering with providers, health plans, and life sciences companies, including CMS' GUIDE dementia care model, Synapticure is dedicated to transforming the lives of millions of individuals and their families living with neurodegenerative diseases. About The Role Marketing at Synapticure is at an exciting inflection point. A rebrand and new website are underway with a top brand agency and launch this fall. A performance agency is driving paid search and social. There’s a growth plan through year-end with active workstreams across brand, funnel, lifecycle, outreach/engagement, and measurement — and budget for an internal team. As our head of marketing, you’ll own the entire function: strategy, roadmap, budget, agencies, team, and results. You’ll report directly to our CEO, hire and lead the internal marketing team and direct our agency partners across brand and performance. This is a strategic role with your hands on the work: you’ll set the plan and personally drive big pieces of it. Who We’re Looking For You’ve done this job before — ideally at a virtual-first healthcare provider — and you’re hungry to do it again with more ownership. You’re a full-stack marketer with real growth chops, but not just a growth hire: you care as much about what the brand says as what the CAC says. You’re an adaptable storyteller who can articulate our value proposition across every audience — whether drafting high-empathy D2C caregiver communications, shaping B2B/B2B2C messaging for enterprise health system and plan partners, or maintaining clear internal and operational comms. And you’re genuinely moved by the people we serve and the difference we’re making. The Day-to-Day One roadmap, one rhythm. Set the marketing strategy and roadmap, run the weekly growth review, and own the “no” — keeping the whole system focused on the few things that actually move enrollment. Paid acquisition that proves itself. Direct our performance agency across paid search and social; own CAC and lead-quality targets; scale spend deliberately as funnel gates clear — not on faith. Layer in offline tests like direct mail where our audience actually lives. The brand and site launch. Land the rebrand and new website this fall, then run the brand day to day: caregiver-first messaging, condition-specific pages for ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s/dementia, and proof everywhere — outcomes data, testimonials, partner logos, press, and our founders’ story. Caregiver-first growth & outreach. Our decision-maker is usually an adult child or spouse acting for someone they love. Own the persona, the messaging hierarchy, outreach/engagement strategies, and the testing agenda that finds what resonates. Measurement everyone trusts. Partner with our data team on channel-level attribution and a weekly dashboard connecting spend to enrollment to completed visits. Translate insight into action, weekly. The team. Manage the Marketing Manager (lifecycle, webinars, caregiver communications) and the freelance brand designer. Build internal capability over time and reduce agency dependence on your timeline, not theirs. Trust and compliance. Partner with clinical leadership so everything we publish is medically accurate and consent-backed — including a growing library of real patient and caregiver stories. B2B & B2B2C partner communications. Partner closely with our partnerships team to build out narrative frameworks, co-marketing strategies, and B2B/B2B2C communications. You'll translate clinical outcomes and care models into compelling messaging while expanding our presence across key neurological disease communities (ALS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s). Your first six months You’ll inherit a written go-to-market plan with active workstreams, engaged agencies, clear targets, and executive alignment. Within six months, you’ll have launched the new brand and site, scaled paid spend against explicit funnel gates, stood up a weekly growth rhythm the whole company trusts, onboarded your team, and written next year’s plan. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of marketing experience, with significant time in DTC or B2B2C healthcare — ideally at a virtual-first care provider. Ownership of a paid acquisition budget with real CAC/LTV accountability — and results you can walk us through. Full-stack range: fluent across brand, performance, lifecycle, and web; expert in at least two. Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional communications spanning B2C, B2B, B2B2C, and internal team/patient-facing announcements. Agency management: you get great work out of partners, hold them accountable, and know when to bring work in-house. Hands-on by default: small team, big goals. You write the brief, pull the numbers, and ship things yourself. Data fluency: comfort in product analytics tools (we use Mixpanel), funnel math, and attribution reality-checks. Startup fit: you’ve operated at early- or growth-stage pace and you like it. Preferred Qualifications Experience marketing to older adults, caregivers, or family decision-makers. Offline and emerging channels: direct mail, CTV, print. Experience with clinical, legal, or regulatory review of public-facing content. Relationships in patient advocacy and nonprofit health communities. Compensation Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.
