Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing plans, with a high focus on digital efforts. Execute marketing plans that support business objectives, strengthen brand positioning, and improve customer engagement. Essential Functions Develop go-to-market strategies leveraging knowledge across the consumer facing teams and finding efficiencies in our marketing and digital efforts. Deliver growth targets. Develop retention programs to meet annual churn goals. Manage product development and promotion strategy to meet market needs. Oversee direct marketing and marketing operations group to support sales and member communications tactics. Partner with teams to provide strategy and support necessary to meet business objectives. Align creative resources to translate business goals, consumer insights, and industry best practices into strategic, on-brand concepts and high-impact creative tactics Oversee management of all external agency relationships and budgets. Ensure excellence and accountability in the entire creative process, from project intake and concept to timely and on-budget completion of superior work that produces results Oversee and contribute to the concepts and development of designs for testing and application across a variety of media. This includes but is not limited to brand assets, web pages, landing pages, email, advertisements, video, and offline materials. Oversee the management, application, and evolution of brand and site standards, templates, and style guides, and ensures brand standards are consistently met. Advocate the consumer viewpoint and support the business with creative executions that enable consumers to achieve their desired objectives with high satisfaction. Keep abreast of creative and digital trends, establishing a highly innovative and creative work environment. Contribute to the development of the creative team's culture and quality standards. Monitor performance of direct reports, preparing KJA for direct reports that tie to job descriptions and goals; provide prompt and objective coaching and counseling; conduct performance reviews. Lead the process of interviewing and hiring for open positions within the unit ensuring that the most qualified candidates are selected. Qualifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 2 additional years of experience related to functional area Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports Demonstrated high proficiency in developing and implementing digital creative projects, including creative writing, branding, visual design, or advertising/sales promotion, or leading creative teams in this work. Ability to effectively represent creative concepts, freely discuss ideas, and command a room with all levels of the organization. Effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties. For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFH)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment Working Conditions The working environment is generally favorable.
