$75.40 - $120.65The Director of Channel Management and Orchestration leads the strategic planning, governance, and operational management of consumer engagement initiatives across Advocate Health's digital ecosystem.
This role is responsible for activating and optimizing enterprise marketing channels, operationalizing digital engagement programs, and enabling scalable, data-driven communications across web, patient portals, digital products, and emerging engagement platforms. This leader is responsible for bringing journeys to life operationally, not designing them. This leader is the bridge between journey strategy, marketing campaigns, product launches and enterprise execution.
Partnering closely with Marketing, CRM, Digital, Epic, Information Technology, Operations, Analytics, and MarTech teams, this leader translates business priorities and marketing strategies into seamless digital execution. The Director oversees marketing channel operations, engagement, personalization opportunities, AI-enabled messaging, experimentation, and platform optimization to ensure campaigns, products and consumer journey initiatives are delivered efficiently, consistently, and at scale.
This role serves as the operational leader for digital engagement, connecting people, processes, data, and technology to improve marketing effectiveness, consumer engagement, operational efficiency, and measurable business outcomes across the enterprise.
Major Responsibilities:
Areas of Responsibility
Enterprise Digital Engagement Operations
Lead the operational execution of enterprise digital consumer engagement initiatives by translating business priorities into scalable digital programs across marketing, clinical, operational, and consumer engagement channels.
Marketing Channel Operations & Campaign Activation
- Lead the operational execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring campaigns are successfully activated, personalized, measured, and optimized across digital channels.
- Partner with Marketing teams to translate campaign strategies into scalable digital execution plans, coordinating audience segmentation, messaging deployment, automation, testing, and performance optimization.
- Establish governance and best practices for digital marketing channel operations, campaign execution, channel health, deliverability, and engagement performance.
- Identify opportunities to expand campaign reach through AI-enabled personalization, intelligent channel selection, and emerging engagement technologies.
- Ensure enterprise marketing campaigns are integrated with Epic, CRM, digital platforms, consumer applications, and operational workflows to create connected consumer engagement experiences.
Engagement Optimization & AI
Engagement optimization through data, utilizing AI, personalization, experimentation, A/B testing, and continuous improvement to maximize consumer engagement and business outcomes.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team that uncovers opportunities and designs solutions for the customer's data solutions, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team.
- Enable teams to operate effectively by removing barriers and facilitating decision-making
- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven work environment, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and supporting ongoing development.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None Required.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, social sciences, or a related field.
Experience Required:
8+ years required, 5+ years preferred experience in brand development, marketing, brand strategy, brand consulting, or strategic planning.
5+ years of experience managing others required.
Has demonstrated knowledge and experience with marketing operations planning and execution
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Enterprise level understanding of marketing technology ecosystems (e.g., CRM, CDP, CMP, marketing automation, digital engagement platforms)
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business needs into scalable systems, standards, and frameworks
Experience operating in regulated environments with an understanding of privacy, consent, and governance principles
Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate across IT, Security, Privacy, and business stakeholders
Strategic thinking with the ability to balance innovation, risk, scalability, and operational readiness
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess tradeoffs and guide informed decision-making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts to executive and non-technical audiences
Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in complex, matrixed organizations
