We are hiring for a number of new positions to meet increasing demand. When you choose to join OCHIN, you have the opportunity to continuously grow your skills and do meaningful work to help fulfill our vision of good health and well-being for everyone. At OCHIN, we value the unique perspectives and experiences of every individual and work hard to maintain a culture rooted in our values. Founded in Oregon in 2000, OCHIN employs a growing virtual workforce of more than 1,200 skilled professionals, working remotely across 49 states. We offer a generous compensation package and are committed to supporting our employees’ entire well-being by fostering a healthy work-life balance and opportunity for professional advancement. We are curious, collaborative learners who strive to live our values every day. OCHIN is excited to support our continued national expansion and the increasing demand for our innovative tools and services by welcoming new talent to our growing team. Position Overview: The Director of Advisory Services builds OCHIN’s advisory services practice and the capabilities, standards, and coaching model that enable OCHIN to serve as a trusted advisory partner through the Own Your OCHIN Empowerment Program. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Advisory Services, this role translates OCHIN’s customer service philosophy, points of view, evidence-informed best practices, and member empowerment tools into practical advisory methods and consultative conversations. This is a practice-building and coaching role. The Director turns OCHIN expertise into repeatable methods, tools, learning experiences, and quality standards; develops Strategic Advisors and other member-facing leaders; and partners across the organization to support proactive, consultative member engagement. The role uses OCHIN RISES, member performance insights, and ROI/value assessment tools to structure discovery, frame opportunities, and support practical member consultancy conversations. Essential Functions: Build the Advisory Services Practice Establish the operating model, service portfolio, delivery methods, governance, and quality standards for OCHIN’s advisory services practice. Develop repeatable engagement frameworks for discovery, assessment, recommendations, facilitation, implementation support, and value realization aligned to the Own Your OCHIN Empowerment Program. Create reusable tools and assets, including playbooks, templates, diagnostic instruments, executive-ready deliverable standards, OCHIN RISES-informed discussion guides, and ROI/value assessment resources. Partner with Finance, Legal, Business Development, Member Success, Operational Excellence, and other operational leaders to design offerings, clarify engagement scope, develop coaching plans, plan resourcing, and define measurement. Build mechanisms to capture lessons learned, codify emerging practices, and continuously improve advisory offerings as the practice matures. Embed OCHIN’s Customer Service Philosophy and Point of View Translate OCHIN’s customer service philosophy into observable behaviors, service standards, coaching practices, and tools that can be applied across member-facing roles. Partner with Marketing and Communications, Corporate Training, Best Practice Pods, Member Success, and Innovation and Improvement teams to develop OCHIN points of view and best-practice guidance grounded in data, member experience, operational expertise, and safety-net needs. Integrate advisory methods and OCHIN guidance into member meetings, service delivery, executive communications, planning conversations, and issue resolution. Use OCHIN RISES, member performance insights, and ROI/value assessment resources to help teams frame opportunities, prioritize recommendations, and support member-owned action planning. Promote a consistent member experience while allowing approaches to be adapted to each member’s goals, capacity, context, and community. Develop, Coach, and Enable People Lead, coach, and develop Strategic Advisors and other assigned staff, setting clear expectations for advisory quality, collaboration, follow-through, and member value. Design role-based learning, practice labs, observation, feedback, peer learning, and coaching to build consultative capability across OCHIN. Partner with Member Success leadership to translate customer success training into practical field behaviors, coaching routines, account planning practices, and member conversation standards that help teams anticipate needs, connect OCHIN capabilities to member goals, and support proactive value creation. Equip leaders and subject matter experts to facilitate strategic conversations, communicate recommendations with confidence, navigate resistance, and support members in taking informed action. Partner with People & Culture, Learning, Communications, Member Success, and operational teams to embed advisory skills into onboarding, leadership development, and performance support. Build a community of practice that connects member-facing staff, shares effective approaches, and strengthens consistency without centralizing all advisory work within one team. Lead and Support Strategic Member Engagements Serve as an executive-level advisor, facilitator, role model, or engagement lead for selected complex or high-priority member opportunities. Guide teams in understanding member goals, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information, identifying root causes, and developing practical recommendations aligned to member capacity and priorities. Ensure advisory deliverables are cohesive, actionable, evidence-informed, and tailored to the member’s operating environment. Coach teams on effective transitions from recommendations to member-owned action plans with clear outcomes, responsibilities, and follow-through. Measure Impact and Strengthen the Practice Define practice measures and feedback loops that assess capability adoption, engagement quality, member value, action taken, satisfaction, retention, and organizational learning. Use engagement data, member feedback, and outcome information to identify improvement opportunities and inform future advisory offerings. Communicate practice progress, risks, resource needs, lessons learned, and recommendations to executive and cross-functional leaders. Monitor relevant health care, safety-net, customer success, and consulting trends to keep OCHIN’s methods and points of view current and useful.
