About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Business Operations to lead and optimize the organization's day-to-day business operations in the UAE.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, establish scalable processes, manage key business initiatives, and ensure that operational activities are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in business operations, process optimization, performance management, strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business operations strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead and oversee day-to-day business operations across relevant functions.
- Establish operational goals, KPIs, performance standards, and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and optimize operational processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional projects and strategic operational initiatives.
- Work closely with finance, sales, HR, IT, customer service, and other departments.
- Develop operational plans, budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements.
- Monitor operational costs and support effective resource allocation.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and operational resilience plans.
- Oversee vendors, suppliers, service providers, and external business partners where required.
- Use business data and performance metrics to support management decision-making.
- Prepare regular operational reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.
- Establish accountability and performance-management practices across teams.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process improvement.
- Support organizational growth, expansion, and scaling initiatives.
- Ensure operational activities comply with company policies and applicable requirements.
- Provide senior leadership with recommendations on operational strategy and business performance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Significant experience in business operations, operations management, strategy, or a related leadership role.
- Proven experience managing teams, budgets, KPIs, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience leading process improvement, operational transformation, or business scaling projects.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, business intelligence, CRM, ERP, or operational-management systems.
- Experience in an international or multi-market organization is preferred.
