Transform the systems that power the full customer and revenue lifecycle. As Director of Business Systems, you will lead the strategy, architecture, optimization, and execution of our end-to-end Quote-to-Cash technology ecosystem across Salesforce, CPQ, revenue recognition, ERP, billing, order management, and integrations. You will be responsible for building scalable, automated, and data-driven processes that support rapid organic growth, operational transformation, and potential acquisitions. We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and hands-on leader who can translate business priorities into scalable technology solutions while driving measurable improvements across Sales, Finance, Operations, and the customer experience. What you will be doing: Own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash systems strategy, architecture, roadmap, and operating model across opportunity management, CPQ, pricing, approvals, contracting, order management, billing, revenue recognition, collections, renewals, reporting, and analytics. Lead the strategic direction and continuous improvement of Salesforce and CPQ, including product catalogs, bundles, pricing rules, discounting, approvals, amendments, renewals, contract terms, data governance, integrations, releases, and technical debt. Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Accounting to streamline commercial and financial processes, reduce quote-to-order cycle time, automate ASC 606 revenue recognition, improve billing accuracy, and minimize manual intervention. Design and govern scalable integrations across Salesforce, CPQ, RightRev, ERP, billing, payments, and other critical platforms, establishing reliable monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, security, controls, and data lineage. Lead cross-functional business transformation by identifying process bottlenecks, eliminating unnecessary manual work and duplicate systems, applying workflow automation and AI, and establishing KPIs such as quote velocity, order-processing efficiency, billing accuracy, manual touchpoints, and data quality. Develop a multi-year Business Systems roadmap aligned with corporate growth and value-creation priorities, including repeatable technology integration playbooks for acquired companies, products, customers, and systems. Build and lead a high-performing Business Systems organization while managing strategic implementation partners, vendors, budgets, governance, prioritization, release management, and executive stakeholder communication. What you will likely bring: 12+ years’ experience in Business Systems, Enterprise Applications, Revenue Operations Technology, Finance Systems, or related disciplines, including demonstrated success leading or transforming complex Quote-to-Cash environments in high-growth organizations. Deep experience with Salesforce and CPQ, along with strong knowledge of ERP, billing, order management, revenue recognition, financial systems, master data, data governance, controls, reporting, and enterprise system architecture. Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its technology implications, with experience integrating CRM, CPQ, ERP, billing, and revenue recognition platforms to support complex commercial and revenue events. Proven experience leading large-scale systems implementations, business transformations, process redesign initiatives, and complex integrations while scaling systems through rapid organizational growth. Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Sales, Finance, Operations, Accounting, and executive leadership. Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, combining business acumen, analytical thinking, technical depth, urgency, accountability, and a focus on measurable outcomes. What could set you apart: Experience with RightRev or a comparable revenue recognition platform. Experience operating in a private-equity-backed, sponsor-driven, highly acquisitive, or similarly fast-paced growth environment, including technology integration following mergers or acquisitions. A track record of challenging legacy processes, building scalable operating models, and applying automation and AI to improve revenue, margin, cash flow, operational efficiency, and customer experience. #LI-MB2 #LI-HYBRID About Epicor At Epicor, we’re truly a team.
