This is a unique opportunity to shape a critical finance function and become a trusted adviser to senior leaders in a fast-growing, technology-led business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Group's annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts and multi-year financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain planning models, assumptions, governance frameworks and reporting processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions, assess scenarios and optimise resource allocation.
  • Deliver risk and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making and proactive financial management.
  • Own Group and business unit management reporting, ensuring insights are timely, accurate and actionable.
  • Lead the financial performance narrative for Executive and Board reporting.
  • Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs across the business.
  • Analyse revenue, cost and profitability drivers to identify opportunities for growth and margin improvement.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Evaluate business cases, technology investments, headcount plans and growth opportunities.
  • Support M&A activity through financial modelling, scenario analysis, due diligence and benefits tracking.
  • Help business leaders understand financial performance drivers and make informed commercial decisions.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance and business units, promoting accountability and financial discipline.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and commercial thinking.
  • Establish scalable planning, forecasting and reporting frameworks.
  • Improve the integration of financial and operational data across the business.
  • Drive reporting automation, planning system enhancements and business partnering capability.
  • Support improvements in data governance, performance measurement and decision-making processes.

Desired Skills and Experience

You’ll have:

  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 10+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles.
  • 5+ years leading finance teams and developing high-performing talent.
  • Experience in managing budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across multiple business units.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and challenge assumptions constructively and influence commercial and resource allocation decisions.
  • Experience translating strategy into multi-year financial plans and evaluating business cases, investment returns and financial risks.
  • Experience developing headcount plans and capital expenditure forecasts, with a sound understanding of technology roadmaps and their financial impact, as well as providing ad hoc analysis and contributing to data governance.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly, including developing Executive and Board-level presentations and recommendations.
  • Experience building and developing teams and improving finance processes, planning systems, reporting and business partnering capability.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise FP&A systems to build and manage budgets and forecasts; involvement in implementing an FP&A system is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial judgement, collaborative leadership and the ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on delivery in a growing business.
