Role Description The Director Of Hotels And Operational Real Estate Valuations will lead and grow the valuations practice for hotels and operational real estate within Knight Frank Ireland. This full-time hybrid role is based in Dublin, with flexibility for part-time work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and delivering high-quality valuation reports, overseeing complex portfolios and single-asset valuations, and providing strategic advisory input for hospitality and operational real estate clients. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, developing new business opportunities, and supporting sales initiatives across the sector. The director will also mentor and train team members, implement best practices and quality standards, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance management for the service line.

• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Proven track record in business development, and client relationship management within real estate or hospitality sectors.
• Experience in training, coaching, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality professional services.
• Understanding of hotel operations, food & beverage, and wider hospitality business models as they relate to asset valuation.
• Marketing and positioning skills relevant to professional services, including the ability to promote valuation and advisory offerings.
• Extensive experience in property valuations, ideally with hotels, leisure, and operational real estate assets.
• Professional qualification in real estate, finance, surveying, or a related field; membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and report-writing ability.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced market.
• Knowledge of the Irish and international real estate markets and relevant regulatory and valuation standards.
