Director of Information Technology (Hybrid | FREE AI Certification)

GoTeam is growing fast, and we need an IT leader to build the system behind it. We want a Director who makes sure every system has an owner, every contract has a renewal date, every request is closed with the user's confirmation, and every device and access right is controlled from a person's first day to their last. You'll lead security, service, devices, infrastructure and IT spend across a 1,000+ endpoint, multi-site operation that supports US and Australian clients.

This is a build role, not a maintain role. You'll own our information security management system (ISMS) and lead the company to SOC 2 Type I. You'll also be product owner for a set of AI-driven IT automation projects, where AI does the watching and people do the deciding. You'll report directly to the President, work on-site at our Cebu office for the first six months, and then move to a hybrid arrangement under our director-level work protocol.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years leading an IT function for a multi-site organization with 1,000+ endpoints
• Hands-on experience implementing an ISMS and taking an organization through a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit, not only maintaining one
• Deep Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Autopilot experience, including device compliance and conditional access at fleet scale
• A track record running an ITIL-style service desk with SLAs, closure rules and problem management
• Ownership of IT vendors, contracts and budgets, including renewal negotiation and total-cost reviews
• Working knowledge of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC breach-notification rules
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced background check (NBI clearance and references), since the role carries privileged access

STRONG SIGNALS

• BPO, shared services or outsourcing industry background
• CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, ITIL 4, or Microsoft security certifications
• Product owner experience for internal automation or AI tooling, and practical fluency with LLM-based agents
• Experience with Absolute (or similar endpoint persistence tools), NinjaOne (or a similar RMM), and Vanta, Drata or similar compliance platforms
• Experience supporting US and Australian client security reviews

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Security, Compliance & ISMS

You own the company's security posture and its path to certification.

• Build and run the ISMS: scope, information security policy, topic policies, risk register, Statement of Applicability and evidence library
• Lead SOC 2 Type I readiness, including the readiness assessment, penetration test, internal audit and management review
• Own the incident response plan, credential vault and break-glass account controls, and support the DPO on breach-notification decisions
• Answer client and insurer security questionnaires from evidence, and sign them

Service Desk, Devices & Infrastructure

You make sure every request gets closed and every device is accounted for.

• Set the service desk's SLAs, routing, closure rules and problem management, and publish the core SOPs and runbooks for client-managed environments
• Own the laptop replacement policy, the single asset register, and full device control through Intune, Autopilot and Absolute, including country lock and travel policy
• Own joiner–mover–leaver access with People & Culture, with leaver access removed within 24 hours and quarterly access reviews
• Approve infrastructure changes, keep backups tested, and own office failover and the work-from-home continuity standard

Vendors, Budget & IT Automation

You make sure there are no surprises, no lapses and no waste, and you use AI to find problems early.

• Own the IT contract register and renewal briefs, and build and manage the annual IT budget against actuals
• Act as product owner for AI-driven IT automation projects built with our Product & Development team: backlog, rules, accuracy gates and adoption
• Present a weekly IT exception report to leadership, plus monthly scorecards and quarterly assurance reviews
• Lead and coach the IT leads, shape the team structure, and plan day, night and US-hours on-call coverage
