Director of IT Supplier Management

Director of IT Supplier Management – Permanent – Remote – Circa £130,000 plus excellent benefits

We are recruiting an experienced Director of IT Supplier Management to join a leading FTSE organisation. Reporting directly to the CIO and working as part of the IT leadership team, you will lead commercial strategy, supplier relationships and contract performance across a complex IT supplier portfolio.

This is a senior leadership role focused on maximising commercial value, strengthening supplier governance and driving continuous improvement.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the IT commercial, supplier management and sourcing strategy
• Manage senior relationships with strategic IT suppliers and outsourced service providers
• Lead complex commercial and contract negotiations
• Drive cost efficiencies while protecting service quality and long term value
• Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance and commercial governance
• Provide commercial expertise across IT projects and contractual changes
• Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and supplier risks
• Build collaborative partnerships that deliver measurable service improvements

What we’re looking for:

• Significant senior level experience in IT supplier or commercial management
• Experience operating within a complex, multi-vendor environment
• A strong background managing outsourced IT services and technology providers
• Proven experience developing commercial, governance and supplier performance frameworks
• A demonstrable track record of delivering sustainable cost savings
• Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
• The confidence to influence c-level stakeholders and supplier leadership teams
• Strong financial, budgeting and forecasting expertise
