POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Operations, Strategic Accounts, serves as the senior relationship owner and operational liaison for CDL's key national and enterprise customers. This highly visible position is responsible for fostering strong client partnerships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving strategic initiatives that support customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. Working closely with commercial, clinical, operational, and administrative teams, the Director serves as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, providing leadership through onboarding, issue resolution, account planning, and ongoing customer engagement. The Director will collaborate across multiple departments to align customer objectives with operational execution, manage executive-level stakeholder relationships, and serve as the voice of the customer within the organization. This role is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities for account expansion, supporting the development of new service models and market strategies, and ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives that enhance both customer outcomes and organizational performance. The ideal candidate brings a customer-first mindset, strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization while driving operational excellence and strategic growth. RESPONSIBILITIES : Work hand in hand with the CDL commercial, clinical, and administrative teams, and when applicable the leadership of CardioNavix. Provide routine updates on progress and issues to Customer, management and operations personnel. Such updates shall be available as determined applicable. Travel as required to effectively manage Vendor and Customer relations, performance, negotiations, and issues. Work remotely and during travel, multitasking to progress and follow through on open issues and projects. Demonstrates support for customer and corporate policies and management decisions. Maintain CDL’s business and patient confidentiality. Appropriately instructs new employees and coworkers. Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for key national/enterprise accounts. Coordinate with regional/local business development, project management, and clinical teams to align national account strategy with field execution. Work with operations to resolve service issues and ensure smooth implementation/onboarding. Manage multi-level relationships across procurement, operations, and executive stakeholders at client organizations. Act as an escalation point for high-priority client issues, ensuring timely resolution Represent the voice of the customer internally to influence product/service improvements. Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand into adjacent verticals. Develop go-to-market strategy and pilot programs for new account types or service models before scaling nationally. Diligently apply the CDL Company Objectives of “Best Appropriate Patient Care.” Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have an associate degree in Nuclear Medicine, bachelor’s preferred. Must be board certified by the NMTCB and/or AART. Must have 3-5 years of Director level experience in Nuclear Cardiology/PET management. Must have demonstrated creativity in improving work routines and in completing assigned projects. Must possess expert communication, human relations, organizational, and clinical/technical Nuclear Cardiac training skills to work effectively and compatibly to complete all tasks required. Must possess the professionalism and poise to deal with conflict and emergencies and the ability to deal with change as it occurs. Willingness to travel to sites to meet new customers, understand the scope of each project, and effectively oversee all clinical and technical aspects of each. Physical Requirements: Ability to obtain satisfactory results by following set procedures and standards. Most of the worktime is spent at the desk or traveling. Reaching, handling, bending, and lifting are necessary when typing and filing. Near visual acuity to avoid perceptual errors when ordering and logging information. Talking and hearing is required when receiving or relaying telephone calls and/or messages. Work is inside. Lifts and/or moves approximately 10 - 50 pounds. Ability to deal with stressful situations during peak workloads.
