At VOAOHIN, our mission is simple but powerful: helping individuals and families rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. With more than 1,000 compassionate team members across Ohio and Indiana, our work transforms lives every day and you can be part of it.
Director of Outreach serves as point of contact through networking, presentations, and strategic outreach for VOAOHIN Behavioral Health and community presence. Primary functions include developing a dynamic and innovative outreach plan that may include open houses, tours, managing communications such as an open bed email, developing or managing a continuing education program to target effective outreach and solid relationship building to the Department of Child Services, Criminal Justice, healthcare and other important community partners across the state and specifically in geographies in or near VOA facilities, short- and long-term census management and cultivation of a pipeline referral network. Secondary functions include a data driven approach to analyzing referral, census and intake trends, competitive market analysis and building solid relationships with VOA program staff and a deep understanding of VOA’s services and programs. The position is responsible for developing marketing and business plans for the achievement of revenue goals for behavioral health and promoting VOA Ohio & Indiana as a whole. Analyze current and past expense budgets, service deficiencies, referral pipeline and revenues. This enables the incumbent to provide recommendations for the BH growth, creating and implementing public relations, marketing and/or communications strategies; developing fund raising plans; building and fostering relationships with constituents; enhancing the organization's public image and brand; and ensuring easy and seamless access to behavioral health services for potential clients and referral sources.
