Role Description The Director of Product Development is a full-time, hybrid role based in Punta Cana, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position is responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of experiential products and services for corporate and group clients across the Dominican Republic. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing product roadmaps, conducting market and competitive research, and collaborating with internal teams and local partners to conceptualize new offerings. The director will coordinate cross-functional execution from idea to launch, ensure products meet quality and customer satisfaction standards, and track product performance metrics to drive enhancements. The role also involves managing a product development team, aligning product strategy with business goals, and presenting updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong Product Management and Product Development skills, with experience guiding offerings from concept through launch and optimization.
• Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) and Analytical Skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and product performance data.
• Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management.
• Background in travel, hospitality, events, or destination management is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in en_US; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Punta Cana, managing onsite responsibilities and remote coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and delivering innovative, customer-centric products or services.
