Director of Product Management – KYC / AML / Financial Crime

📍 Ireland or UK | Hybrid/Flexible/Remote

Hadfield Green is partnering with a growing international RegTech software company to appoint a Director of Product Management to lead a key product domain.

This is a genuine Product leadership role - not a senior Product Owner position.

You’ll own the product strategy and roadmap across the KYC / AML / Financial Crime domain, leading a distributed Product team and working across multiple Scrum teams.

The role has significant autonomy. You’ll work closely with customers, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and senior leadership across Europe and the US to understand the market, identify opportunities and decide where the product goes next.

There is also significant investment going into AI and agentic technologies, both in how products are built and in developing new customer-facing capabilities.

The role:

• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the domain.
• Lead and develop Product Managers / Product Owners.
• Translate customer, market and regulatory needs into clear product priorities.
• Identify new market opportunities and build the commercial case for investment.
• Partner with GTM teams on positioning, launches and customer engagement.
• Bring strong metrics, ROI and commercial thinking to product decisions.
• Explore how AI can transform the product and customer experience.

We’re looking for:

• Senior Product Management leadership experience within B2B SaaS, FinTech or RegTech.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, Financial Crime and/or Capital Markets.
• Experience leading Product Managers / Product Owners across multiple teams.
• Evidence of owning product strategy and roadmaps rather than primarily feature delivery.
• Strong commercial instincts around market opportunity, customer value, adoption and ROI.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.
• Energy, curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset.

The preference is for someone based in Ireland, although we’re very open to strong candidates in the UK and potentially elsewhere in Europe.

It’s an opportunity to take real ownership of an established product area within a growing international software business, with bonus and equity participation alongside the base package.
