Position Overview As Director of Software Engineering, you will lead the Software Delivery Manager layer in Sofia and be accountable for the performance, development, and delivery effectiveness of multiple engineering teams. You will work closely with Product, Architecture, and global technology leaders to ensure teams are focused, empowered, and delivering high-quality outcomes. · Lead, coach, and develop Software Delivery Managers and their teams · Set clear expectations for engineering delivery, quality, communication, and accountability · Partner with Product and Architecture to align priorities, manage risks, and support delivery commitments · Act as a senior escalation point for delivery challenges, dependencies, and organisational blockers · Promote practical adoption of AI tools and modern engineering practices across teams · Represent Sofia Engineering in senior stakeholder discussions and translate strategy into clear execution What We Are Looking For We are looking for a senior engineering leader with strong people leadership, solid technical credibility, and a practical interest in AI-enabled engineering.
