Position Summary AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Stakeholder Engagement to drive its mission of strengthening institutional reputation, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. In this pivotal role, the Director of Stakeholder Engagement will lead stakeholder engagement initiatives, oversee high-profile institutional events and protocol activities, manage strategic partnerships, and enhance community and parent engagement efforts. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement engagement strategies that strengthen AUIB’s institutional positioning and external relationships. Events & Protocol Management: Lead the planning and execution of high-profile institutional events, VIP visits, conferences, and ceremonies while ensuring adherence to protocol standards. Institutional Partnerships: Build and manage strategic relationships with government entities, NGOs, international institutions, schools, and industry partners. Community & Parent Engagement: Oversee outreach initiatives and parent engagement programs that strengthen AUIB’s community presence and stakeholder involvement. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence: Lead the Stakeholder Engagement team, manage budgets and vendors, and ensure effective planning, risk management, and continuous improvement across all engagement activities. Ideal Candidate Profile Strategic Relationship Builder: Strong ability to establish and maintain meaningful partnerships across diverse sectors. Event & Protocol Expertise: Experience managing high-level events and working with VIPs, dignitaries, and official delegations. Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities in professional and diplomatic settings. Adaptability & Cultural Awareness: Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments with sensitivity to local and international cultural contexts. Education and Experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, events management, or related leadership roles. Specific Skills or Expertise: Strategic partnership management, stakeholder engagement, event and protocol management, leadership, communication, and project management skills. Additional Certifications: Master’s degree or professional certifications related to communications, leadership, or project management are considered a plus.
