You Will:

• Lead enterprise interoperability initiatives supporting hospitals, referring providers, imaging centers, HIEs, and strategic technology partners.
• Partner with technical interoperability leadership to define business requirements, implementation priorities, and testing strategies while ensuring operational readiness for all integration projects.
• Serve as the primary business owner for interoperability partnerships, leading a cross-functional team dedicated to the successful planning, implementation, adoption, and ongoing relationship management of all external healthcare and technology integrations.
• Lead implementation of scheduling APIs and other interoperability solutions that improve connectivity between patients, providers and healthcare organizations.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and new business partnerships by planning and coordinating interoperability and patient engagement integrations.
• Represent the organization in meetings with external partners, vendors, and healthcare organizations to advance interoperability initiatives.
• Attend industry conferences and monitor emerging standards to evaluate new interoperability initiatives and digital health opportunities that support organizational growth.
• Lead enterprise healthcare data-sharing initiatives supporting strategic partnerships, research, operational reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee de-identification initiatives to ensure compliance with HPAA, organizational policies, and applicable privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate secure and compliant exchange of healthcare data.
• Partner with reporting and analytics teams to evaluate interoperability performance, patient engagement effectiveness, and operational outcomes.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators related to interoperability adoption, digital patient engagement, implementation success, and partnership performance.
• Utilize data and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Provide strategic leadership to the Digital Patient Engagement team and its manger to develop and oversee enterprise strategies across SMS, email, and other digital communications platforms.
• Partner with Operations to optimize appointment reminders, report notifications, order messaging, digital outreach campaigns, and other patient-facing communications.
• Establish governance for patient communications to ensure consistency, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient access and reduce friction throughout the scheduling and imaging journey.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• 8–10+ years of healthcare technology, digital health, interoperability, patient engagement, or healthcare operations experience.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale implementations and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability concepts, including HL7, FHIR, APIs, HIEs, and healthcare data exchange from a business and operational perspective.
• Experience leading external partnerships, vendor relationships, and healthcare technology implementations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across technical, operational, and executive teams.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and successfully deliver complex initiatives in a large healthcare organization.

Pay Range: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
