Position Summary

We're currently looking for a Director, Order-to-Cash to join our team in a United States fully remote role.

This position will lead the end-to-end order-to-cash function, including orders, billing, collections, and customer issue resolution, while providing direct leadership to the Bangalore-based team. The Director will also own the Zuora platform and related development work to improve processes, reporting accuracy, collections performance, and the customer experience.

*** This role is a FULLY REMOTE position that must be located within the United States in any time zone. The target base salary for this role is $180K-195K. ***

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end order-to-cash organization across orders, billing, and collections, including management of the Bangalore-based team.
  • Own Zuora strategy, administration, issue resolution, and the development roadmap, in partnership with data and technology teams.
  • Engage directly with major United States customers to resolve complex billing and collections issues and reduce customer dissatisfaction.
  • Design and implement scalable order-to-cash processes that reduce bad debt, chargebacks, billing-related churn, and non-payment-related churn.
  • Improve revenue reporting accuracy and reduce unexpected accounting issues and adjusting entries through clear system and process ownership.
  • Establish and monitor performance measures, including days sales outstanding, total collections, bad debt as a percentage of revenue, fee recovery, churn, and deployment speed for system improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience leading an order-to-cash function within a business-to-business software-as-a-service company serving United States customers.
  • 7+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Hands-on experience with Zuora and Salesforce, including system ownership, issue resolution, and process improvement.
  • Prior experience managing a remote or global team; experience leading teams based in India is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of revenue accounting and the relationship among orders, billing, collections, revenue recognition, and reporting.
  • Experience building or maturing an order-to-cash organization in a growing company without fully established processes.
