Summary

The Director, Organizational & Leadership Development provides strategic leadership for enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness, leadership development, learning strategy, succession planning, and workforce capability initiatives. This role designs and advances integrated strategies that strengthen leadership effectiveness, organizational performance, workforce readiness, and talent pipeline development across the enterprise.The Director ensures leadership, learning, and organizational development strategies are aligned with Moffitt's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities, building the capabilities, culture, and agility necessary to advance excellence in patient care, research, education, community engagement, and operational performance.Serving as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization, the Director oversees organizational consulting, enterprise learning, workforce-based training, leadership development, executive coaching, leadership assessment, succession planning, talent review processes, and learning technology functions. Through partnership with Human Resources, Enterprise Engagement & Impact, Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, and operational leaders, this role helps cultivate a high-performing, engaged, mission-driven, and future-ready workforce.

Through partnership with Human Resources, Enterprise Engagement & Impact, Strategic Workforce planning, Talent Acquisition, and operational leaders, this role helps cultivate a high-performing, engaged, mission-driven, and future-ready workforce.

Minimum Experience Required

• Minimum ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, or a

related field.

• Demonstrated success leading enterprise organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and workforce capability initiatives.

• Experience consulting and influencing executive and senior leaders.

• Proven experience leading teams, managing complex initiatives, and driving organizational change.

• Experience designing and implementing large-scale learning, leadership, and talent development programs.


Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively

influence and partner with senior leadership.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Strategic and systems thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational

environments.

• Demonstrated leadership, change management, and project management skills.

• Broad knowledge of organizational development (OD) concepts, theories, and techniques.

• Adaptability to change, responsiveness to organizational needs, and a strong customer-focused,

team-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare, academic medicine, or similarly complex organizations.

• Executive coaching certification or significant executive coaching experience.

• Experience leading succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership assessment programs.

• Experience overseeing learning technologies, instructional design functions, and enterprise LMS

platforms.

• Experience supporting large-scale organizational transformation initiatives.






Job Title: Director Organizational and Leadership Development
Minimum Education Level: Master's Degree
Minimum Field of Study: Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Leadership, Adult Learning, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

Preferred Education Level: Ph.D.
Preferred Field of Study: Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Leadership, Adult Learning, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

Licensure Certification Needed: No

Salary Range

$132,013.44 - $198,120.00

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
