Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (3-4 days a week onsite) - No Flex in this
Duration: 5 Months (End date: 03/26/2027)
Rate Range: Upto $100/hr on W2
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1B, OPT, CPT
Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in payroll systems, HRIS, workforce management, payroll technology, or related enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience configuring, administering, troubleshooting, or implementing enterprise payroll or workforce management platforms.
- Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including Hours-to-Gross, Gross-to-Net, payroll controls, integrations, and U.S. and Canadian payroll requirements.
- Experience leading complex production incidents, root-cause analysis, and technical resolution across applications, integrations, and data.
- Experience with integrations, APIs, secure file transfers, SQL, data validation, testing, releases, cutovers, and stabilization.
- Experience leading technical teams, contractors, managed service providers, and vendors.
- Experience managing technology budgets, vendor performance, and business-critical application environments.
Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy, technical health, operating model, and roadmap for payroll and workforce management applications.
- Lead modernization efforts focused on reliability, automation, observability, analytics, security, and user experience.
- Establish standards for application configuration, integrations, reporting, automation, security, and controls.
- Ensure payroll-related integrations and data flows are reliable, documented, monitored, and supportable.
- Lead technical investigation and resolution of complex payroll, timekeeping, integration, data, calculation, access, and financial posting issues.
- Drive critical incidents through containment, root-cause analysis, permanent resolution, validation, and preventive action.
- Lead payroll technology implementations, releases, cutovers, go-lives, and stabilization activities.
- Build and develop a strong payroll technology team through coaching, cross-training, documentation, and succession planning.
- Manage vendors, contracts, statements of work, service levels, budgets, and delivery commitments.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, Security, Audit, integration teams, and other business stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation, testing evidence, support procedures, runbooks, change controls, and audit-ready materials.
- Ensure payroll technology solutions meet payroll, tax, security, privacy, SOX, and audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong experience supporting business-critical payroll or workforce management applications.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and complex enterprise application environments.
- Strong knowledge of payroll integrations, application support, troubleshooting, testing, and production operations.
- Ability to communicate technical issues, risks, priorities, and decisions to senior leadership.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Infor WFM.
- Hands-on experience with UKG Payroll.
- Experience with both Infor WFM and UKG Payroll.
- Workday Core HCM and Compensation experience.
- SAP Finance experience.
- Cognos, Power BI, SQL, advanced Excel, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Experience supporting complex U.S. and Canadian payroll environments.
- Experience with union and non-union payroll populations.
- Knowledge of entertainment-industry collective bargaining agreements.
