JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.

Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

Why This Role Is Different

JLL is one of the world's leading professional services firms specializing in real estate and investment management, operating across 80+ countries with annual revenue exceeding $20B. Our procurement and payment operations process billions in annual spend through a complex ecosystem spanning PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, S2P, ViewPost, and various third-party platforms across 60+ countries.

This role exists to close that gap — not through incremental configuration, but through fundamental reimagination of how JLL procures, pays, and manages supplier relationships at global scale.

As a key member of our existing P2P product focused team, and working in conjunction with our JLL finance teams and our external delivery and vendor partners your role will be responsible for the delivery of various enhancements across P2P delivering the evolution of JLL's Vendor Onboarding and Accounts Payable processes - delivering faster cycle times, higher accuracy, better compliance, and dramatically improved supplier experience.

As a subject matter expert, you will own design authority before delivery — signing off that AI/integration initiatives are properly designed for business value and enterprise robustness before they enter build, not after. And you'll do this with direct exposure to senior Finance Technology leadership and meaningful influence over JLL's Accelerate 2030 strategic program.

This is not a traditional ERP product management role. Most P2P roles are steady-state configuration and support. This one is strategic transformation: building intelligently automated, self-optimizing procurement systems that make supplier selection, approval routing, invoice matching, and payment decisions autonomously — not just execute pre-configured rules.

If you want to architect a real, production-scale case study in enterprise agentic AI for procurement and finance operations, this is where it's happening.

Reports To: Executive Technology Product Manager (VP-level, Corporate Finance Technologies)
Location: Flexible (hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days flexible)

Key Stakeholders: VP Finance Operations, Global Controller, Regional Finance Directors, Solutions Architecture, Enterprise Data & AI Platform
-----------

About the Team

The CFT P2P team is responsible for the end-to-end product strategy, design, and delivery of JLL's Purchase to Pay platform — spanning Vendor management, payables, expenses and settlements including third-party integrations across a single global PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 ERP instance.

The team supports core finance operations across 60+ countries and works closely with Finance, Engineering, and Production Support to deliver continuous improvement and strategic transformation at global scale. This role is a named contributor to JLL's Accelerate 2030/Enterprise Business Objectives (EBO) strategy, with direct accountability against the platform-modernization and data/AI pillars.

What's Different at Director Level

This role carries distinct authority and scope compared to senior product or delivery roles:

  • Design authority before delivery — you own the design roadmap and sign off that AI/integration initiatives are properly designed for business value and enterprise robustness before they enter build, not after
  • Cross-portfolio scope — spans billing/order processing, accounts receivable, and third-party integrations, rather than one workstream
  • Build-vs-buy decision authority — make and defend recommendations on AI and automation tooling, with clear input to procurement decisions and alignment with our Finance partners and Delivery partners
  • Direct leadership visibility — present design and investment roadmaps to senior Finance Technology leadership directly
  • Transformation leadership — guide the organization through AI-enabled process redesign, not just system configuration

Key Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Finance Operations, Global Process Operations, Finance and Business partners
  • Engineering Leadership & Solutions Architecture (technical delivery)
  • Enterprise Data & AI Platform team (AI feasibility and integration)
  • Procurement Leadership (process design and change management)
  • Production Support Operation (operational readiness and support model)

Budget Scope:

  • Business case development and ROI validation for P2P transformation initiatives
  • Input to annual P2P technology investment planning
  • Vendor relationship management (Oracle, ViewPost, third-party integration platforms)

What You Will Do

1. Product Strategy & Design Leadership

  • Support the end-to-end P2P product design strategy — from concept through launch and iteration — grounding every design decision in measurable business benefit
  • Direct the design, modification, and evaluation of P2P solutions across the portfolio (billing, accounts receivable, third-party integrations), guiding teams toward well-defined, optimal outcomes
  • Partner with Product Owners and Product Support in balancing current-state support with forward design work
  • Build and maintain a performance framework that provides visibility into design quality, process efficiency, and business value delivered
  • Present strategic roadmaps and investment cases to Finance Technology leadership and P2P Steering Committee

2. Purchase to Pay Design

  • Guide design of core P2P enhancements including contract asset handling, credit note automation, and client onboarding, ensuring solutions meet requirements with minimal post-deployment defects
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to streamline Vendor management and invoice and expense processing and settlement through digitization and automation design, including agentic AI capabilities
  • Ensure all design decisions support financial close, month-end reporting, and cost assurance requirements across 60+ countries
  • Design solutions that maintain compliance with regional regulatory requirements and internal controls

3. AI, Agentic Automation & Integration Design

This is the core differentiator of this role

  • Research and propose GenAI use cases across P2P — intelligent cash application, proactive collections optimization, automated dispute resolution, working-capital forecasting — each backed by a feasibility assessment on JLL's internal data/AI platform, validated with Engineering
  • Build ROI-based business cases for GenAI and automation initiatives in partnership with Finance operations partners, demonstrating measurable impact on DPO, dispute resolution time, and working capital
  • Make and defend build-vs-buy decisions on AI and automation tooling, with clear recommendations on vendor selection, platform integration, and total cost of ownership
  • Extend agentic workflow design across integration touchpoints — including procurement Spend Management solutions and third-party banking systems.
  • Present AI and automation recommendations, with a prioritized roadmap, to Finance Technology leadership
  • Partner with Enterprise Data & AI teams to assess technical feasibility of AI initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise AI governance standards

4. Governance, Compliance & Controls

  • Apply audit and compliance principles (including SOX) to the design of billing and revenue-related workflows
  • Ensure design deliverables support timely resolution of priority P2P issues and minimize post-deployment errors
  • Maintain design documentation to the standard required for audit and compliance purposes
  • Design AI/automation solutions that preserve appropriate financial controls and audit trails
  • Participate in monthly P2P Steering Committee and quarterly CFT Portfolio Review governance forums

Required Qualifications

Enterprise P2P & ERP Expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise finance technology with deep Procure-to-Pay domain expertise spanning procurement, accounts payable, supplier management, and/or travel & expense
  • Deep functional expertise of P2P business processes, controls, and best practices including three-way matching, approval workflows, supplier lifecycle management, and month-end close requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial close, month-end reporting, and revenue assurance processes in a global, multi-entity environment
  • Experience contributing to at least one global ERP rollout or large-scale finance transformation program
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior finance and technology stakeholders
  • Proven experience scoping, validating, and deploying AI/ML or automation use cases in finance operations, with ability to provide specific examples of business value delivered

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Oracle AI DP/Apex) in an enterprise finance context
  • Familiarity with agentic workflow frameworks (such as LangChain, AutoGen, or similar orchestration tools)
  • Experience implementing AI solutions subject to financial controls and SOX requirements, with understanding of explainability and audit ability needs
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based AI/data platform capabilities and enterprise integration patterns
  • PeopleSoft or Oracle certification/accreditation
  • Change management or transformation leadership experience, particularly in introducing AI/automation capabilities to finance operations teams
