Hybrid Employee Value Proposition: ​​​ The Director, Regional Therapeutic Strategy serves as the field-based strategic leader responsible for translating corporate objectives into regional insights, therapeutic-area strategy, and customer engagement plans. The DRTS acts as the critical bridge between Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and key regional stakeholders to identify opportunities, remove barriers to patient access, and optimize brand performance across assigned therapeutic areas. ​​ Position Summary: ​​​ The Director, Regional Therapeutic Strategy (DRTS) is a senior field-based commercial leader responsible for driving therapeutic-area strategy and execution within a defined geography. The DRTS leverages deep disease-state expertise, customer insights, and market intelligence to identify opportunities and develop regional business strategies that improve patient access, accelerate appropriate product adoption, and strengthen customer engagement. ​​ Performance Objectives: ​​ Strategic Leadership Develop and execute regional therapeutic-area strategies aligned with corporate brand objectives. Analyze market dynamics, competitive activity, treatment patterns, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Translate national brand strategies into region-specific action plans. Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership regarding emerging opportunities, risks, and market trends. ​ Customer Engagement & Insights Build and maintain relationships with key regional stakeholders including KOLs, academic centers, community oncology practices, and health systems. Gather actionable customer insights to inform brand strategy, lifecycle planning, and future investments. Identify regional barriers to diagnosis, treatment, patient access, and product utilization. ​ Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Sales Leadership to align field execution with brand objectives. Maintain effective collaboration with Medical Affairs to share relevant therapeutic-area observations and insights, consistent with applicable policies and functional responsibilities. Work closely with Market Access to understand payer and health system dynamics. Participate in launch planning, indication expansion readiness, and lifecycle management initiatives. ​ Commercial Excellence Support implementation of marketing programs and regional initiatives. Monitor performance metrics and recommend actions to optimize brand performance. Contribute to annual brand planning activities. Provide ongoing market intelligence and competitive assessments. ​ Innovation & Organizational Influence Identify emerging trends that may impact the business. Champion innovative engagement approaches and customer solutions. Support development of future commercial strategies through continuous market learning. ​ AI & Digital Innovation Leverages AI, advanced analytics, and digital technologies to accelerate insight generation. Improve business outcomes and create innovative customer engagement strategies while maintaining compliance and responsible use standards. Education/Certification Requirements: ​​ Bachelor's degree required. ​ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 10+ years pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or oncology industry experience. Significant experience in oncology marketing, sales leadership, market access, or commercial strategy. Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority. Experience developing and implementing strategic business plans. Product launch experience preferred. Competencies Strategic thinking and business acumen. Strong oncology therapeutic expertise. Executive-level communication skills. Customer insight generation. Cross-functional leadership. Data-driven decision making. Change management and influence. ​ The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $217,600 - $256,000 annually. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including annual bonus/incentive comp plans, potential long term incentive plan, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
