City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Overview The Director, Client Strategy is an effective influencer who leads development of credible business relationships both inside and outside the organization. Leads a team driving the achievement of established Growth, Retention, Profitability and Strategic Engagement objectives. Utilizes leading and lagging indicators to measure performance to goal, identifying opportunities to impact performance and manage membership forecasting, projection and budget processes. Cultivates relationships with key influencers and decision makers affecting large group business segment results. Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Certification/Licensure VA license to sell group health insurance required as of date of hire or within first 90 days of employment in this role. Valid VA driver's license. Location Remote - Virginia Only. A pproximately 25% travel within Virginia to attend customer and broker meetings. This typically includes periodic in‑person engagements, such as once‑a‑month travel , depending on business needs. Experience Minimum 7 years of experience in Healthcare. Minimum 5 years of consultative Healthcare sales experience with a proven track record of driving growth and business development. Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Management. Strong knowledge of health insurance products and funding arrangements , including fully insured, self-funded, and alternative funding models. Experience presenting and influencing senior executives (C-suite), brokers, consultants, and key decision-makers.
