Director, Salesforce Platform Architecture & Delivery
The Role and What You’ll Do
TKO is seeking a Director, Salesforce Platform Architecture & Delivery to lead the design, build, and delivery of our Salesforce platforms across TKO. Reporting to the VP, Business Systems, this leader owns the overall delivery across Sales and Guest Services for TKO Salesforce platforms and is a key contributor to the Salesforce product and technology roadmap.
Where the VP defines the enterprise sales & marketing technical vision and ensures investments align to business growth and transformation goals, the Director is accountable for converting that vision into working capabilities - owning platform architecture, end-to-end delivery of roadmap items, and the ongoing health and performance of the applications within Salesforce supporting core CRM.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role that balances architecture rigor, delivery execution, and people leadership, and that partners closely with the Data & Marketing Technology Architect, the DevSecOps & QA Lead, and Sales and Service stakeholders.
The Director, Salesforce Platform Architecture & Delivery will:
Serve as the delivery owner for Sales and Service enhancements and initiatives - accountable for planning, scoping, building, testing, and release of platform work items from request intake through production release.
Will recommend and sequence capability investments, as a key contributor to the multi-year product roadmaps for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, against business priorities and the enterprise strategy set by the VP, Business Systems.
Own the system and data architecture for the Salesforce platforms, defining the object model, integration patterns, sharing and security model, and standards that keep the platform scalable, performant, and maintainable.
Determine and monitor KPIs for the applications, inclusive of consumption monitoring and platform performance, and report on adoption, reliability, and value delivered.
Provide governance of the platform including license and credit consumption monitoring, and platform performance advising on under usage or potential overage
Partner with Sales, Service, and other business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into prioritized, achievable platform plans and release schedules.
Establish and enforce delivery standards, estimation discipline, and release governance so initiatives ship predictably, on time, and at quality.
Manage delivery capacity across employees and contractors, removing blockers and balancing enhancement work against project demand.
Govern technical debt, design decisions, and architectural trade-offs, ensuring solutions are designed and built to support business needs without compromising long-term platform integrity.
Maintain alignment with enterprise data architecture and security standards in partnership with the Data & Marketing Technology Architect and DevSecOps & QA Lead.
Track license, API, storage, and other consumption metrics against entitlements, proactively managing usage, cost, and capacity to avoid limits and overages.
Use performance and usage data to drive optimization, prioritize remediation, and inform the roadmap.
Lead, coach, and develop the Salesforce platform team (employees and contractors), setting clear expectations and building bench strength and platform fluency.
Act as the primary platform point of contact for business stakeholders, communicating roadmap, delivery status, risks, and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Partner with vendors and implementation partners on delivery, support, and roadmap alignment.
