Director - Snowflake Product Owner

DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role: Being a member of IT Enterprise Architecture Data and Corporate Technology team, you will drive adoption of the Snowflake platform at DTCC. Ensure appropriate and efficient use of Snowflake as DTCC's strategic Reporting & Analytics platform. Work with the vendor to bring new product offerings to DTCC. Your Primary Responsibilities: Product Owner – responsible for evaluating all products offered in the Snowflake platform. Evaluate each product for suitability for DTCC and establish guidelines for product use. Client Management – work with business aligned Application Development teams and Business Units to determine platform priorities and bridge the gap between DTCC and the vendor. Responsible for evaluating new DTCC projects for compatibility with the platform. Vendor Management– primary contact point with the Snowflake vendor. Represent DTCC to communicate issues and requests for product refinement. Communicate new Snowflake offerings to the DTCC development community. Product Strategy – be aware of changes to the Snowflake platform and competing products to ensure that DTCC’s strategy for Reporting & Analytics remains sound. Senior Management Liaison – available as a resource for technology and business senior management, to provide expertise and recommendations on use of the Snowflake platform. **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. ** Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in technical/computer discipline or related experience required Min of 10 years of related experience Talents Needed for Success: Client Management experience Deep technical knowledge of the Snowflake platform, fundamentals and its main competitors Strong written and verbal communication skills required to communicate with platform users and Senior Management in Technology and DTCC Business Units Initiative-taking, able to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable interacting with Senior Management Experience in building large scale data reporting & analytic offerings The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
