Labcorp is seeking a Director, Solutions Marketing, to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement & Commercial Alignment
- Partner with Product Management on the strategy, development, and quality standard for sales enablement tools, including selling messages, workflow explainers, objection handling, competitive tools, and portfolio-level sales playbooks.
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to identify needs, build training and tools, and ensure the field is equipped for clinically credible, high-impact customer conversations.
- Guide the team in delivering actionable market and competitive intelligence for Sales; incorporate field insights into ongoing refinement of messaging and tools.
- Support priority accounts, field blitzes, training initiatives, and pipeline acceleration efforts.
Portfolio Strategy, Insights & Performance Leadership
- Direct ongoing assessment of scientific trends, customer insights, competitive activity, and workflow dynamics to refine portfolio strategy and inform investment decisions.
- Establish portfolio-level KPIs and dashboards; translate insights into strategic recommendations for franchise and commercial leadership.
- Create and lead structured feedback loops with Product Management, Customer Marketing, Sales, Field Activation, Science, and Medical to validate strategy and ensure continuous optimization.
- Serve as a key contributor to portfolio and annual strategic planning.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Portfolio Marketers, ensuring strong strategic thinking, scientific rigor, and marketing excellence across the function.
- Build team capabilities in positioning, messaging, scientific narrative development, portfolio analysis, and sales enablement.
- Champion a culture of scientific insight, customer understanding, and strategic clarity.
AI-Enhanced Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use AI to accelerate and strengthen the Director’s own workflow and the Solution Marketing team’s execution
- Drive informed decision-making by using AI to aggregate, analyze, and summarize relevant evidence, trends, and opportunities.
- Enhance collaboration and decision-making across departments by leveraging AI-powered shared intelligence and real-time insights.
- Create consistency across supporting roles with AI-standardized artifacts and agents
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 or more years’ experience in product management or portfolio marketing strategy within the healthcare industry including pharmaceutical, diagnostics etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in diagnostics or healthcare sectors.
- 3 or more years' experience working in Women's Health
Additional Job Standards:
- Experience applying AI to accelerate portfolio marketing workflows, including positioning and narrative drafting, scientific and competitive monitoring, KOL and SME input synthesis, dashboard commentary, and sales enablement preparation, with clear judgment about where AI adds value and where human expertise must lead.
- Comfort configuring, prompting, and maintaining purpose-built AI agents or assistants for recurring portfolio marketing workflows, including setting guardrails, reviewing outputs, and keeping a human accountable for every recommendation.

The Director, Solutions Marketing plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the company’s diagnostic innovations are clearly understood, competitively positioned to meet customer needs, and effectively adopted in the market. As a leader within Diagnostic Marketing and a critical commercial partner across the enterprise, this role strengthens Labcorp’s brand leadership, supports growth in high-value specialties, and enhances customer engagement through evidence-based, strategically grounded portfolio marketing.
The Director sets the strategic direction for the function, coaching and developing the Portfolio Marketing team and ensuring a consistent, evidence-driven, and commercially relevant approach across the portfolio. This role leads and accelerates portfolio growth by developing differentiated positioning, value propositions, scientific narratives, and sales enablement strategies that fuel product launches, support high-growth opportunities, and reinforce Labcorp’s scientific and clinical leadership. The Director also ensures that complex science is translated into clear, credible, and compelling messaging, enabling Sales and field teams to engage customers with confidence and precision.
The candidate must reside in the Boston, MA; Madison, WI; San Diego, CA; or Durham/Burlington, NC areas, located near a Labcorp hub. Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule, which includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $165,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
