Director Strategy & Transformation

Location: About the role: As Director Strategy & Transformation, you will have a critical role in shaping and delivering Versuni’s enterprise value creation agenda. Working closely with the Senior Director, you will own high-priority strategic workstreams, lead complex analysis, develop robust financial models and investment-grade business cases, and translate strategy into decisive actions that improve growth, profitability, cash generation and enterprise value. You will also play a central role in shaping our 3-to-5-year Group strategic plan, ensuring it is anchored in clear value pools, quantified choices and executable initiatives. This role requires senior and independent judgement, strong financial acumen (sales forecasting, P&L modelling, margin analysis and cash impact), structured problem-solving, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Operations and the Regional teams. You will be expected to bring insight, challenge and execution discipline to the Strategy & Transformation function, moving beyond analysis to help define, prioritise and deliver the initiatives that create measurable value for the business. The impact you’ll make: Strategic & Financial Analysis: Lead enterprise-level strategic and financial analysis to identify, size and prioritise value creation opportunities across growth, margin expansion, cost productivity, working capital and cash flow. Own sales forecasts, P&L scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and value pool assessments, translating findings into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers and the annual strategy planning exercise. Business Case Development: Own end-to-end business case creation for growth initiatives, investments and strategic projects, ensuring every case is anchored in quantified value drivers, execution requirements, risks and accountability. Partner with Finance and SMEs around the Business to validate assumptions and ensure alignment. Create best-in-class models to present metrics such as FCF, ROI, payback, IRR and enterprise value impact. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional work with key Functions and Regions to gather inputs, align trade-offs, shape priorities and drive transformation programmes from idea to value delivery. Facilitate structured senior-level problem solving to define strategic initiatives with quantified impact, clear owners, milestones and decision points. Executive-Level Deliverables: Craft clear, insight-led materials for our Shareholders, ELT and senior stakeholders across the Business. Translate complex financial and strategic analysis into compelling Board- and Executive-ready narratives in PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on value creation logic, investment choices, risks, dependencies and expected outcomes. Transformation & Value Delivery Tracking: Support and strengthen the tracking of strategic initiatives through our value delivery office, ensuring benefits are baselined, quantified, owned and delivered. Develop an independent view on where leadership attention is required, identify risks to value capture and work with Functional teams to define mitigation actions, acceleration opportunities and course corrections. M&A & Strategic Investment Analysis: Drive identification, screening and evaluation of potential M&A deals, partnerships and strategic investments as part of Versuni’s broader value creation agenda. Conduct initial financial assessment of targets, including revenue quality, margin structure, synergy potential, integration considerations and value creation levers. Build valuation models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) and perform scenario analysis to inform investment decisions and strategic choices. The skills and knowledge you’ll bring: Minimum 12 years of experience in Strategy, Corporate development, Business transformation, Value creation or related senior strategic roles Background combining top-tier management consulting (preferred 3–5 years minimum) and industry experience within Strategy, Corporate development, FP&A, Transformation or Value creation Strong financial modelling capabilities (advanced Excel required; modelling discipline essential), including deep understanding of P&L mechanics, cash flow, margin drivers and value creation levers Ability to step back from the detail, identify material value opportunities, and autonomously scope how to capture and deliver tangible outcomes with functional teams Proven experience building robust, investment-grade business cases for senior decision-makers, with clear articulation of value, risks, choices and execution requirements Structured thinker with strong hypothesis-driven problem solving Highly detail-oriented, with exceptional PowerPoint crafting skills Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable influencing senior leaders, constructively challenging assumptions and driving alignment across functions Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred What we’ll give you in return: Internationally competitive base salary | benchmarked against global industry and market leaders Performance-based Annual Incentive Program | rewarding those who dare and achieve more Top of the market pension scheme | with higher-than-average company contributions Work from home, commuting and phone allowances | to support your daily commute, home office setup & business connectivity Balanced office-based working | With a strong focus on in-office collaboration, we offer flexibility to work from home based on team needs and individual circumstances.
