The Offer:

• Salary: $1,000 USD / Month
• Employment Type: Full-time (Via Agency)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 16:00 – 24:00 CET 10am-6pm NY Time)

The Opportunity: We are seeking an organized Dispatch manager to support an independent sales agent for a publicly traded global logistics company. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing fast-paced freight tracking, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires assertive communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to proactively manage transit issues. Previous dispatch experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracking & Monitoring: Provide real-time driver location updates at least once an hour and ensure drivers are on schedule for all pickups and deliveries.
• Proactive Communication: Aggressively communicate with drivers or their dispatchers via phone and email to track locations and quickly identify any potential reasons for delay (including mechanical breakdowns, weather, or traffic).
• Customer Service: Provide timely, professional status updates and proactively report any delays to the customer exclusively via email. (Note: Dispatchers will not communicate with customers over the phone).
• Documentation Management: Obtain a signed Proof of Delivery (POD) from the receiving party and present it to the customer within 1 hour of the load's delivery.
• Operational Support: Take on additional administrative and dispatch-related roles as needed to ensure smooth daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, customer service, or operations.
• Communication: Assertive verbal skills for driver follow-ups and excellent written English for client-facing email correspondence.
• Problem Solving: High level of attention to detail with the ability to foresee transit issues and act quickly to communicate delays.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with email platforms, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, and general tracking systems.
• Infrastructure: A reliable internet connection and a quiet environment suitable for making outbound dispatch phone calls.
