Role Description The Distributor role at Arsomaa India Pvt Ltd is a hybrid position based in India, with a mix of field work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Distributor is responsible for developing and managing a network of retailers and sub-distributors, ensuring consistent product availability and visibility within the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting market visits, presenting product ranges, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating order placements and deliveries in collaboration with internal logistics and sales teams. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, tracking sales performance, collecting market feedback, and supporting promotional campaigns and in-store merchandising. The Distributor will maintain accurate records, prepare periodic sales and market reports, and uphold Arsomaa’s standards for customer service and brand representation.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in distribution, channel sales, or FMCG/consumer durables trade operations within India, preferably in home appliances or electronics.
• Strong skills in territory management, relationship building, and negotiation to effectively handle retailers, wholesalers, and sub-distributors.
• Ability to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and manage inventory to ensure timely product availability and minimal stock-outs.
• Competence in using basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or sales reporting systems) for tracking orders, reporting, and communication.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present products clearly and address customer and partner queries professionally.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working with limited supervision in a hybrid environment involving travel and remote work.
• Understanding of local market dynamics and distribution practices; regional language proficiency is an advantage.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and comply with company policies and ethical standards.
