We are recruiting a GP for our Doctor Clinical Product Specialist vacancy. In this role you will ensure the clinical integrity and regulatory compliance of our clinical products across our digital platforms. This role combines medical expertise with digital health and regulatory knowledge to deliver high-quality, evidence-based information that supports patient engagement and clinical safety. You will be instrumental in building new innovative clinical products, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance patient care. The role requires a keen interest in artificial intelligence, digital health innovation, and the ability to continuously learn and develop new technical skills in a rapidly evolving healthcare technology landscape. About the role Review, edit, and approve clinical content for digital health products, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the development and validation of AI-powered clinical tools, including content generation agents, triage algorithms, and clinical decision support systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines, AI applications in healthcare, and digital health innovations, integrating them into content workflows and product development. Conduct quality assurance checks on clinical pathways, AI-generated content, scripts, and patient-facing information. Provide clinical input during product development, feature updates, and technology integration initiatives. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external medical experts to validate content accuracy and ensure clinical safety of technology-driven solutions. About You The ideal candidate must have the following: Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with full GMC registration. Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience. Experience in digital health, telemedicine, or health technology. Strong understanding of clinical governance, regulation, and digital health standards. Demonstrated interest in AI applications in healthcare and emerging health technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate complex medical information into clear, accessible language for both patients and technical teams. Detail-oriented with strong editorial judgement and analytical skills. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Desirable Familiarity with NICE guidelines and UK healthcare regulations. Previous editorial or content review experience. Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or natural language processing applications in healthcare. Experience working with AI tools or clinical decision support systems. Understanding of health data standards (SNOMED CT, FHIR) and regulatory frameworks (MHRA, MDR). Our ideal candidate will be collaborative and proactive approach with enthusiasm for innovation, show a commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice, comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment and intellectually curious with a passion for exploring how technology can improve healthcare delivery. What we offer Salary: £64,000 (0.8 FTE), increasing to £72,000 (0.8 FTE) following successful completion of probation (4 months). Equivalent to £80,000 to £90,000 full-time salary.
